I just bought the Snow Joe and have only used it once on about 4 inches of wet snow. It cleared my driveway, sidewalk and back patio easily without any jams in the chute.  It was easy to assemble, the battery charged up in less than 2 hours and seemed to have a lot of power left.  I am not looking forward to more snow but feel confident this machine will do the job. The position of the safety lock and ON/OFF trigger is a little awkward to use, but not a major issue.

Reasonable price, easy to assemble and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Snow Joe 48-volt MAX iON+ snowblower arrived just in time for another Buffalo Snow storm. Being hesitant about the battery ability to handle 5+ inches of wet sloppy snow, I set out to do battle. Taking less than 3 hours to charge the high-performance batteries, I found the convenience of the pushbutton starter wonderful after the old pull-start cord on the gas snowblower.... speaking of which, no more gas spilled on my gloves, no clothes smelling like gas... I love it! The Snow Joe cleared right down to the concrete driveway, no layer of snow left behind. The 22" swipe covered a large area quickly. Snow Joe completely cleared my driveway plus the sidewalks and the batteries still had power! I found this snowblower to be a convenient size and weight for me to handle. You can't go wrong with the Snow Joe!

Not worth the money

I asked vendor to exchange battery and they insisted i had to return the entire unit and they would then send a replacement only upon receipt.  easier just to return and go to another supplier

Battery was defective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No wonder the delivery guy unloaded it and carried it to my front door like it was nothing — the snowblower is cheaply made! Even the wheels are made out of cheap plastic. It looks more like a toy than an actual machine. I tried using it, and it didn't work at all. Not for  Massachusetts snow, anyway. Very disappointed.

Cheaply made

This blower is a toy. Cannot handle wet snow, not matter the amount of snow. I was only able to ise this for a light snow (1in) . I had wet snow abot 3-5 inches and it wasn't able to throw the snow. It got constantly clogged with snow. Not worth the hassle specially in Canada with high amounts of snow. I recommend any 2-stage snow blowers.

Constant Clogging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This snowblower was easy to assemble and the headlight is a nice feature. That is about where my positive opinion ends. With gas prices skyrocketing, I thought it would be nice to switch to a cordless rechargeable unit. I am underwhelmed by it's performance though compared to gas models I've used. The wheels are tiny and plastic, actually pretty much everything is plastic, and the overall quality is weak. I don't expect this to last long. If you have a small/even concrete area to clear, this may work, but if (like me) you have slightly rugged or uneven terrain you'll probably be disappointed. I like to clear a small area in my yard for the dog, and this thing really struggles moving snow from the frozen grass area. A small sidewalk would be appropriate for this machine.
