The new coolers are made with the same high quality as the ten-year-old ones they are replacing. Sadly, many brand name companies you use to be able to count on for quality now have cheaper, inferior products.
It appears that Coleman has chosen not to do that. The new coolers are still made with high quality materials and have a better design with better handles. 
I am very happy with this purchase.

I really love Coleman product. And I was looking for a good size one and this is the perfect fit for me! And I would tell everybody get a Coleman cooler they last for life

Good durable cooler with strong handles. Adequately holds a case of water plus ice.

Ice melts fast, 1 maybe 2 days. Also, lid doesn't stay open, closes too fast

It does not keep ice for more than 6 to 8 hours, though they say it keeps ice for over 3 days. I didn't open the cooler until 6 hours after packing it with the food and ice, so there was no reason for the ice to melt in this time.

The hinges displayed in the photograph are not the same as the hinges on the cooler that was received. The photograph of the family on the beach shows that it has the solid hinge that stays open super easy but what I actually received was those flimsy plastic hinges that are easy to replace because they're held on with screws. However, the cooler doesn't stay open in a neutral position. It automatically falls close.

After purcahsing the 120 Quart cooler, I am both mad and sad. Mad at myself for not reading the reviews while trusting a big company like Coleman to actually continue making quality products. Sad because this cooler kept our items cold, offered enough space for many choices for many days; BUT (big but) in a light rain the cooler fills with rain water, even with the lid completely closed.  Very disappointed.  Coleman get your act together.  You used to be great!
