We  powered it on  to get rid of any unwanted smells outside on our porch . Did this for about 2 hours no issues.  We tried some  "McCain skinny fries"   and amazingly they came out perfect .. just like McDonalds, nice and crispy ( 300 grams for about 16 minutes at 400F. Did some diced Beets and again came out real nice, my wife is super happy ( for now).

We decided on  this because of the Glass bowl, we did not want metal , especially Aluminum, with Teflon or Ceramic coatings because of  well published issues with flaking and peeling  and flaking off issues. The Glossy Black, uninterrupted fit and finish is real nice, is smooth and easy to clean.

We like the Pause button to reshuffle contents.


We have our fingers crossed that this Fryer will be loyal to us .. too early to tell.  It seems lower powered than other  at 1350 watts, it may take a little longer to cook, perhaps, if it takes 3-4 minutes longer at significantly lower watts .. that math works for us, and  less extreme heat wattage might mean the Fryer components ( plastic and wiring)  might last longer that some that run at 1500-1800 watts.

McCain skinny fries  just perfect

I'm absolutely in love with this air fryer! The glass basket is a standout feature — it makes it so easy to monitor the cooking progress without having to open the unit and interrupt the process. The design is sleek and modern, and the glass material feels healthy, sturdy and high-quality. 

Cooking is a breeze! It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly, resulting in perfectly crisp fries, chicken, and even vegetables, all with little to no oil. I've also noticed that cleanup is so much easier compared to traditional non-stick baskets — the glass doesn't retain any food smells or stains, and I can simply wipe it clean.

It's great for small meals or even larger batches for the family, and it takes up minimal counter space. Overall, I highly recommend this air fryer for anyone looking for a reliable, easy-to-use, and durable appliance that delivers delicious results every time!

Fantastic Air Fryer with Glass Basket !

I love my new air fryer. I was cautious about getting one. Because I thought it would be difficult to clean and tricky to use. 
My daughter suggested this one with a glass basket and I could not be happier.

Easy to use easy to clean

[Employee of walmartcanada] So far this is exactly what I was looking for. Cooks great, being able to see the food without stopping cooking is a huge bonus too. Clean up hasn't been an issue. The mesh rack is the only negative I know of; where the wires meet the frame it's very sharp and easily catches while being cleaned or could puncture skin.

The basket could be heavy for some, removing while hot and washing while soapy/wet.

But for this price point I couldn't be happier, highly recommend.

An air fryer without any coating!

Not a fan of the look of air fryers generally plus knowing it's safer to cook in this than the plastic ones makes me happy I picked it!

Air fryer container is made of glass, allowing view of how the food is cooking. The glass needs careful handling so that it doesn't break. Cleaning is really easy: Soap, sponge and warm water.

Solid Canadian Made Air Fryer For A Great Price

I liked the idea of a glass basket to see how things were cooking- but when it arrived I realized it was just too heavy. Hard to remove basket and “shake” ingredients part way through. Maybe it's just me- but I thought it was impractical for my use. Nice looking machine- but not for me- I returned it.

Heavy!

Terrible.  It doesnt fry anything.  Not a single one of the presets temp and timers are enough to cook the item which they are preset to cook.  Took over an hour to fry potatoes wedges from a fresh potato (not even frozen). Also, touch-screen buttons often dont respond and you have to keep touching and pressing them harder and multiple times
