Nothing noteworthy to complaint about after about 90km. The bike came carefully packaged in its box and was simple to assemble. I use it mostly for exercise on flat paved surfaces. There isn't a lot of power from the 350W motor and will struggle to maintain 32 km/h even on a slight incline on throttle, but it's fine for sedate rides. The battery range is good, but it obviously depends on how much pedalling you do. For example, a 25km ride with pedal assist set at 3 for 75% of the ride and a mix of PA 4 and 5 for the remainder (moderate pedalling, no throttle) did not use even one bar of the battery gauge.

Pros: Step-through design, 27.5" wheels, easy of assembly (the gear shifter was spot on), included rack, price, alloy frame, comfortable seat.

Cons: Headlight is useless, the front suspension fork is set up very soft (for 190lb rider) and bottoms out easily, front disc brake was initially rubbing and had to be adjusted, LCD gauge display is small and basic.

Overall, I'm happy with the bike.  It's inexpensive, but it's all I need for my purposes. Only time will tell how durable it is.

Great Starter Ebike

If you are looking for budget full size E-bike, this is the one. You can compare quality and specification with the more expensive bikes. And this one is even lighter than the most others electric bikes and comparable in weight to non-electric older city bikes. Probable due to aluminum frame. On my personal opinion if you can purchase  Phoenix E-bike, it makes no sense to look into more expensive brands. Range, power, assist mode, controls all are set simple and effective. It has plastic fenders too. Brakes are impressive and simple to adjust. Bike received tuned well out from the box,  assembling was easy and fast. Only tires needed pumping to the pressure as per specification set on the tires. I have selected Step-Thru model which better fits for myself. And my wife immediately wanted the same bike, so I have purchased the second one. And we are both happy. The only cons I could mention is that one bike shows selected gear  not exactly, but shifter arrow shows between the gears. But it is minor issue. Probably could be adjusted.

Good budget Electric bike

This is a review of the purchase experience: I bought this e-bike for my wife. I was very happily surprised. The online purchase went well and I was advised that home delivery would be in 2 days time. And that's what happened! Ordered Thursday and the bike arrived Saturday 1PM. Another nice surprise - the large box was in good condition - it wasn't all beat up, no crushed corners and even better, the bike itself was well-packaged and protected; no scuff marks or anything. The bike was mostly put together and the final assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. Only time will tell, but the bike itself appears good and solid; I'm hopeful that it will provide good service for years to come!

A great purchase experience

Phoenix ebike

Delivery was quicker than expected.  The packages were in good shape.  Assembly was easy and all parts came together well.  Liked it and so far no any concerns.  Wish the assisting power could come before paddling which makes the start easier for elders like me.
