Probably not its intended purpose but my kids love it. Set it up in my backyard and they are treating it like their own little fort. It gets some of the noise out of the house! We'll do a camp out soon to see what they think overnight, but for now it's doing an awesome job of entertaining them.

For the price, the Ozark Trail 10-Person Dome Tent is great value.  It's large, very spacious, and will fit a family's gear.  It wasn't difficult to set up and 1 person can do it, but of course it would be easier with help.  I think this tent would be good for beginners who are trying camping for the first time and want to see if they enjoy the experience.  It will give them the experience to decide if they want to invest in something more robust, and higher quality -- but, much higher cost!  The Ozark tent is good value.  For dedicated campers, something more robust would be better.  For the occasional camping trip, it's hard to beat -- it's roomy, and does the job!  For multi-family camping trips, this would be good to set up the kids in -- lots of room for them to play in their own space.

Great value!

This tent is a large family tent that I would say best fits 8 people- as it would be too small for 10.  The tent was easy to set up on first attempt and was also easy to take down after.  Definitely worth the price - quality of fabric is good.  Did not test in rain.  Provide adequate shelter in clear skies.

Reliable Tent For Summer Camping

We purchased this tent for our older teenage kids. We have a boy and a girl and they liked the fact that it was 2 “separate” bedrooms within the tent. The setup was pretty easy and the inside is very roomy (they both had queen sized inflatable beds)

Great tent for the price point

The tent is obviously not the most high end but the space was good and setup was pretty straight forward as long as you follow the instructions properly.

Decent for the price

Spacious and easy to set up but leaked a lot after a brief rainfall. Like thete was water dripping from the window zippers and puddles on the tent floor. The water proof base is only on the bottom and does not come up the walls at all. Terrible design. Will be returning.

Does not withstand rain

One of the black poles broke … it was extremely hard to put together and read instructions. One of the straps for the putter fly broke. This was a brand new tent opened and put together.  Not very happy when setting up, as a single mom with two younger children. Size of tent is great ., so is the extra zip up mesh room.

Would not buy again.

Ok, we really wanted to love this tent for our family, but it was so dumb. 

Setup was overly complicated for no reason. Especially the fly. The measurements are weird so our air mattresses had to go head to feet instead of side by side. There was no other option. The side walls cave in and need to be propped up from the inside if you are on a rocky or hard surface where you can't peg in. It's insanely frustrating. Dew goes straight through the tent soaking everything in the mornings and the inside is such a weird long and narrow shape that it's impossible to try and keep things off the walls. 

Lastly, and the most annoying of all, ours came with 2 broken ties on the fly that we had to duct tape to make it through our trip. 

The reason for 2 stars and not 1 is the windows for venting are big and helpful in the summer heat, and the darker colour is good for a bit less light in the morning. That's it. 

Returned the day after our trip and will be purchasing something different.

Wanted to live this..

I wanted to go camping and instead ended up in an unwanted indoor pool full of pollen and regrets. Maybe if you used an air mattress this tent could be a lot of fun as you and your family floated about on your mattresses playing a game of bumper floats. First one to get bumped off there mattress loses and has to bail out the tent! Seriously tho...Its an ok tent. Just make 100 hundred percent sure that there is no rain predicted in the forecast.  And if you get surprised by rain dont expect to hide out inside the tent to stay dry or you will be sprely disappointed.  Embrace the sogginess. And be greatful if you arent allergice to pollen.

Tent? Or indoor pool? Up to you to decide.

Screen room has no floor and does not go all the way to the ground. All it does is trap the flies in and give them a nice place to hang out. Completely useless part of the tent. The angle at wach end makes it almost impossible for anyone to sleep in that area so it 1000% is not suited for 10 people. We returned this one and went with the 8 person and we were much happier. One this to note, NONE OF THESE TENTS ARE EVEN SLIGHTLY WATER RESISTANT. It says they are suitable for 1200 mm of rain, when about 12 drops would still have the inside soaked. If you do get any of these tents, buy tarps for above unless you like swimming in the morning before getting out of bed.
