I would recommend this . It teaches building skills and building blocks are good for the brain, it also teaches about future ideas about building a business in the future as young adults or kids that could fantasize about different careers or second jobs of a food truck or in something that they would enjoy or see themselves doing  they enjoying the future and making money at the same time.  

I consider this an educational toy for role playing and computation of how they will build their blocks and follow or not follow direction in using their  own imagination and ideas in however they choose.

Neat little build, I thought the donut on the top would "click" together, but it seems it is made to have a little gap in the build.  Seemed odd.  It should have also been a tad taller to display the characters better when they are on the inside.  I build was fun, and it looks great.  This was only my second build in my re-found love for lego.

LEGO

I absolutely love this genre of sets. My kids love the past years slushie and burger truck. The donut truck was very fitting as it is their favorite breakfast meal. They were just as excited if not more when I got this. I have seen some people upset with gap in the donut but this leads to fun workarounds and customization if buyers have the spare parts.

Great set, easy to build

I like the Friends line of Legos. I like that there are always people, animals and lots of neat colorful items in. the sets...like foods, gardening stuff, etc

It detaches and you can have a truck and separate donut shop. It has a back door that also opens. By ten year old built it and I also think legos help with there motor skills to concentrate on the instructions and also build at the same time

Donuts To-Go

Fun and easy build. The pre-printed tiles make things a lot cleaner for the end product. Adding it with the Burger Truck makes it a fun sub-theme as you build your food court. The fact it comes with a policewoman minifig is a hilarious little detail!

Lego is a reputable brand. It made a great gift. The age listed on the box mames it easy to buy for kids.

This set is an excellent addition to any Lego city especially if you have the modular police station set. My only gripe is that the back of the truck is one stud too short and it obscures the head of the mini figure doughnut man when he's inside it. Otherwise it's an overall great set. This set receives an A- from the Brick Professor.

Get truck

the amount of waxy laminated paper here is unbelievale. there are 38 useless pages in just ONE of this sets instruction books showing that you use your hand to pick the pieces up. really? i thought i'd try putting it together with my teeth.

come on lego, this is so poorly designed, not to mention wasteful. and the argument is that it's for kids is ridiculous because i was a kid who loved lego, and so were many of my friends, and none of them ever had any issues with the old style of instructions. also the consolidation on the instruction steps is also terrible, please do better
