I brought this as I have always had an interest in Corvettes, having owned a few in my time.

This was a nice relaxing straight forward build, which would appeal to a lot of builders, new and experienced. There were a few familiar technics in the build. It whiled away some time very pleasantly.

The finished build was pleasing to the eye. The steering works quite well and the vehicle moves well.

There is a mixture of printed bricks and stickers. My preference is still for having more printed bricks. If you get the stickers wrong, they can throw the look of a build off.

I was able to complete the build within one day, but there is never a need to rush a build. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. There is pleasure in taking your time and enjoying the experience.

This model would appeal to those who like Technics and Cars.

It's a Christmas gift for a 14 year old boy. He hasn't received it yet but even though some reviews wrote it can be difficult he is Lego Technic enthusiast and will probably find it enjoyable.

My son is very happy with it. It took him a while to save enough money for this. He has shown it off to whomever he could. Now he has taken it apart so he can repair it.

Yellow Lego Corvette

I was so pleased to see the new stingray coming out, it's a magnificent car. The Lego corvette sets are excellent so I was looking forward to a technic Lego set. It looks great when it is done, the photos don't really show how well the details are done. It is difficult to do curves on a car like this and it is finished well to look like the real thing.  The build is similar to other technic cars, there is a pattern to them but that is inevitable. It would be cool to have suspension like the GT40 but that would make it more expensive and complex so I'm ok without.  Steering is good, it looks cool and a really well designed approach to replicating the real thing, I'm very happy with it. My son and I race it against the dodge charger!

Speedtastic

This was certainly a fun build for the 2.5 hours it took and I love it sitting in my self. But like all Lego kits, kind of pricey.

Great Build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome Lego set with very detailed build of a classic car. Too bad there was a piece missing that needed to be replaced by Lego, which caused my build to be put on hold.

I was very excited about this Corvette Stingray until I realized that it was missing a piece that is needed for a complete build. Not sure if I can bring myself to purchase anymore Corvette sets since this is the second Corvette that I've purchased or received as a gift that was missing pieces. I was able to overlook the first set missing pieces until the second Corvette was found to be incomplete.

I gotta tell you it's not that easy to build with the directions. It's not very easy at all very tricky and it's very not easy. You know you go on YouTube and the guy blows the car and like you know 2020 minutes it's crazy you know I mean it's not easy at.
