Ideal for axolotl enthusiasts of various age groups.

I usually don't like these surprise eggs because they have a bunch of junk in them, but these eggs have a little toy, a little character with accessories and different color, sand, kinetic sand, or you actually make it like a little bed and you put the little character in it and you can close the egg back up and there's a sticker that matches the character that you could put on the outside of the egg to show you which character is in the egg. It's very cute.

These are super cute!! The figures are detailed and the kids thought they were fun. Comes with a sticker, accessory and kinetic sand (could do without that part).  They made great stocking stuffers. Price was fair for what you get. Did have parte (arms and legs) that can pop loose. Not suitable for really small children. Good gift idea for 5 and up.

The Axolotls are absolutely adorable and the items that come with them are just as cute. They do come with very small pieces so they would not be good for small children. And the hands pop off as well. So that would pose as a choking hazard. But overall for pre-teens, they are great!

Super cute

It's cute to add in a gift basket for a kid.  It's super cute, but I wait until they are on sale to buy them ($5ish).  My daughter loves axolotls and was excited for them!  However, when it was shipped, they stuck the mailing label to the ball!!  My daughter's surprise was ruined.  We now have two!

These little  figures are just too cute.  Colors  are vibrant, figures well made even though arms can be easily pull out and it has small  parts .  Not  good for young children , but for older children and adults they're great .  These are not playing  with "toys",  they're  more of a collectable  because they are so beautiful to look at.

OMG!  TOO CUTE!

Grandson wept for an hour when he wasn't winning at Christmas bingo. He was in a hurry to win and pick this prize! Alas, he got a bingo and ran and chose this. Must be a good toy.

The aloxals are really cute! I can't do another review on miniverse but need to say that any bad review you see is most likely because people don't read the instructions and have no idea what they are doing! A lot of miniverse have resin in them and will not dry without a UV light!

MINIVERSE ADVICE!!!

These are so freaking cute!! My biggest issue with them tho is the limbs have been coming off of ours pretty easily- maybe ours were just defective? I was going to gift some to a younger relative but I'd be too worried about them eating the limbs and accessories.

Maybe better for older kids?

The arms and head keep falling off anytime my grandaughter moves it. If its for decoration,  it would work but if you plan on a child being able to play with it,  it's an absolute fail. Also, the pieces are small so good luck finding them when they do fall off.

I bought these for my grandson's Easter basket and I thought they would be so cute!  While the actual axolotl critters were cute, the packaging cost way more than the toy.  Add to that the fact that there's no way a kid could get into the package without an adult.  The entire experience was more frustrating for everyone than enjoyable.
