[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this Toaster, after reading quite a few reviews of other 4 slice toasters and this one had good ratings and reviews. I purchased this Toaster a couple of months ago and I love this Hamilton Beach 4 slice Toaster. It has several options that I was looking for and it works great! I love the bagel setting, as it toasts perfect bagels. It also has an option, if you only want to toast 1 slice of bread or if you toast 2 slices, they both come out perfectly even on both sides which is really nice. It has a setting for defrost if you have frozen waffles and want to thaw them out before  toasting them. If you want to toast something smaller like english muffins, when it's done, lightly lift up on the handles, it makes it so much easier to take out of the toaster. I've owned Hamilton Beach Toasters in the past and I have to say they are worth having. I love the looks of this toaster and I use it all the time.

Four Slices Are Better Then Two!

great toaster

this is the best 4 Slice toaster on the market. I first bought one about eleven years ago and loved it! So when I moved years later i bought another one. Now, once again, I bought a new one. Oh, the first one I bought I gave away to a relative....it still works!

my husband likes the bagel setting
the bagel setting was tricky to figure out but he likes it more. 
I'd like a big longer and deeper slot but it does toast ok for what's toasting inside the slot
we still haven't figured out the single piece of toast setting.

it is made cheaper than my previous one that i had for several years,and the cord comes out from the side instead of the back which was easier

However this one filled our house with chemically fumes when we used it for the first time. My children came downstairs asking what the smell was. I am not comfortable using it anymore. I'm sure the fumes will ware off but it's not worth it to me.
