I have yet to try this new blackstone out. Purchase this table top 22 inch for camping trips. I will further review in the following months. Looks really nice i got this one due to the attached hinged hood. Stainless steel front and handle.

I cannot express how much I love this thing!  Just buy one and use it. You'll see! I love cooking breakfast on it. Half hashbrowns crispin up while the other half is sizzlin bacon and eggs. 
Then carne asada tacos that night. ? I have the mobile one to take camping with the awesome bag that's included. Juuuust wish I was able to get the bigger one for a more permanent grill since I use it so often.

It's a must have!!

This griddle is a great buy. Fit and finish are good and the quality feels good. So far with the seasoning and three cooks in I’m very happy. I bought it for my wife so she can grill whenever  she wants and it’s not so intimidating like my big grills/smokers.

Blackstone 22" Griddle

The first one I got I had to take it back for an exchange because the starters didn't ignite. The second one, one of the "feet" on the griddle top that attaches it to the body was hard to get in place, it even looks like someone had to make the hole bigger than it originally was. But it went. I fired it up to seasoned it without any problems. I am yet to cook on it.

tried it with a friend while camping. loved it. as a chef i have always enjoyed a flat top.
i love the easy versatility, easy cleaning and maintenance. a bit heavy and bulky for portability though im aware of smaller units.
seems to me that it is a bit less propane consuming than regular grills.
perfect for smash burgers of course!

good griddle

I love it but I didn’t realize it only used 1lb propane bottles, I thought they all used the bigger ones which is more convenient and less expensive an more environmentally friendly.  I was my fault for not reading closely but maybe it should be more explicit because I cam probably not the only one who is disappointed.

Bought one for my daughter and it came damaged.  The side was completely crushed in.  Not a packing issue but quality control issue.  They were going to send me the part, but it wouldn’t be in for about 6 months.  After much discussion (emails), they sent out a new one.  It also came damaged, but at least the lid would close so my daughter was ok with it.  I was not happy about this because it was a birthday gift to her,  I like the grille, but come on, is it too much to ask for a grille in perfect condition?

Damaged grille…twice.
