this is my second shark air purifier- insanely dependable and easy to use. I didn't have to replace my filter for year and it tells me when it needs to be replaced. I highly recommend it. I gave it one someone with with that allergies and it really has helped them a lot.

My Shark Air Purifier with True HEPA filter comes with a scent canister so that when the air purifier kicks on, a delightful aroma fills the air. I like this purifier because the filter lasts a long time before needing replaced and it is very easy to clean. Cleaning is not required very frequently either so that is a bonus. I like that the purifier will increase in intensity if, for example, I burnt some toast and the odor is strong. The digital display will let me know when the air quality is poor and it kicks up a notch or two to quickly clean the air.

I bought this for a rental house that had been smoked in. Before we put it there, we set it up in our own home and it has been fabulous. There is a noticeable difference in the smell and ‘feel’ of the air when you walk in. It wasn’t bad before, but now it’s just CLEAN. May buy a second one for the rental house.

Better than Expected

If you have a home with multiple dogs and kids, you absolutely need this Shark Air Purifier!! Especially during the winter months, where you are trapped inside for the majority of the season and sickness is running rampant every other week, this air purifier is a game changer! The price point is a little high, but it is such a good investment and the filter only needs to be changed once every six months if you happen to forget like I do the air purifier itself will tell you when it needs to be changed so there’s no guessing or keeping track. The instructions are clear and precise to understand how to get it up and running. Within a couple minutes of plugging it in whenever I was first gifted this air purifier. It gave the air in my home such a low level but after 10 or 15 minutes, it was back up at 100%. The nice thing about this air purifier is that it can purify the whole first level of my home so there’s only a need to purchase one and if I want to, I can always move it around the house, but the first level of my home is where we do the majority of playing with the kids and dogs as well as lounging around and cooking so it’s a more high traffic area. Since I do have kids, they love to press buttons and explore new gadgets in our home, which is another reason why I love this Shark Air Purifier because it has a child lock feature so our kids can’t mess around with it and I can ensure that it is always on. I received this air purifier last year as a Christmas gift and it definitely has come in handy for the winter months. I’ve really noticed a change from this year’s flu season to last and this is all due to our air purifier!

It’s a pretty cool machine. I was expecting it to leave the air smelling cleaner which I don’t get much of. It definitely detects poor air quality when the windows/doors are open or I’m cooking. It has definitely improved breathing quality among my little ones.
