Printer's ink levels are easily trackable.

This home office printer is not only economical friendly, but it is also user friendly. 
When I first unpacked the printer, I noticed that the bottles of ink were all individually wrapped and sealed which I really liked because there was no risk of them leaking onto the printer in the box ..or even on my floor while I did the printer start up. The set up was a little time consuming because there were multiple steps (took about an hour or so to completely set up). Plus side about setting the printer up is that there are paper directions and also a cd if you need to visually see how everything works. 
Some positive things I noticed were that the ink bottles can be stored and used to refill at a later date. There is abuser friendly app you can download onto your phone to control the printer from your phone as well as on the printer screen which I thought was super cool and convinent. The printer is compact so it can easily fit in your home office without being bulky and space consuming. 
The only weird thing I noticed was that once the printer was filled with ink...the ink levels dropped significantly after just printing one paper which I thought was very odd since the ink was supposed to last thousands of papers. So we will see how that turns out. All in all I think it's a great investment for your home office use or even personal use especially if you have children with school work that needs printed out constantly. I enjoy it. Easy to use and great printing quality. The fax and scanner are also very simple to operate and can be done using your phone which is amazing.

setup is a breeze, I hardwire all my devices for security in my location. consumables and paper are nothing out of the ordinary, wanted a compact, reliable printer for personal office use. fits the bill

My husband had been after me to get rid of our HP Printer.  I was having continued problems with it and then I had to enroll in their Instant Ink program which was a monthly fee and limited amount of pages to print.  I had owned my printer for over 3 years and now I had to pay to print.  Purchased the Epson and it was very easy to set up. Love the app as well.  Print is very clear and love the scanner option as well.

Best Printer on the Market!

We are very happy with this printer. The set up was the easiest of any printer I've EVER owned. The app walked me through the entire set up. And the app makes this printer so extremely easy to use. I love the cartridge free ink tanks, they should save us a lot of money over time!

When it comes to the actual printing process, I  was very impressed. Not only did it print very clear and sharp pages, it printed them FAST! I printed an ink-heavy sign for my son, and it literally printed in less than 10 seconds! As a homeschooling family with a small side business,

Super fast, extremely easy to use

Now that my printer finally linked up to my computer it's perfect!
My laptop doesn't take a cd to install so it's by wifi.  It miraculously finally happened! Been trying to do it throughout a week.  To be fair I tried 3 or 4 different nights but it didn't take until tonight! It's everything I wanted!

Perfect for home business! Et 3850

When I bought both of my Eco tank printers, I loved them. However, every time recently, you have to do a firmware update it's atrocious.

No help on the Epson site either because you go to all the work to submit the form and you can't submit it because their model drop-down menu doesn't work.

I'm beginning to think I will never buy another Epson printer !

HORRIBLE EPSON SUPPORT PRINTER WON't print on Apple Peanut b

Junk - jams when trying to make copies or scan items. Also double side copying works one minute and not the next. Shame on epson…all this thing can actually do decently is print. What a joke. Will never buy another epson product.

This was my worse Epson purchase. The 1 star is for the EcoTank., it does save ink and easy to fill. BUT I'm still on my 1st fill. I want to return this and get a different model. I'm sure somewhere in the fine print it points out that the control panel is a MANUAL screen non touch. I would be okay with that, if I didn't have to scroll through with the arrows for simple tasks like copy and scan. Oh, and forget about scan on the machine. I forget every time and must hit, power (to wake it up) arrow, okay, computer, okay, options are USB (don't use) or preview on computer. arrow, preview on computer, okay, comm error. THEN I remember I must use the scanner utility on the computer! The document feeder is a joke. Does not feed paper with the smallest of a bend anywhere on the edge. No 2side-2side with the ADF, manual only! Lastly the paper carriage, it miss-feeds on a regular basis with a jam or extra sheets. Overall, the unit weights and feels like VERY cheap plastic. I have used Epson for years and still like the brand, but this is not even close to products I have purchased in the past. I'm an IT guy and have bought a lot of Epson's for myself and clients. I'll toss this soon and go with anther unit more suitable for a small office. Time in use approx. 2 months

i loved it for the very short time I had it !! opened it Sept 1 and it was broke before the end of the month. techinal problem. i need this printer NOW.. thats why I paid $431.99 now i cant make copies for my sale. Very Upset 😡  i have to wait to get a new one mailed to me.
