These curtain rods were really easy to install and use. The only bit of difficulty was pushing in the designed knob at the other end. It was a tad too big for the rod. But after some time it went in. They work really well for my blackout curtains in my bedroom

I wouldn't use these for heavy curtains as they might bend.

Medium duty rods

This works perfectly. I needed a rod that could withstand my clutzy adult son. He doesn't pay attention he rips through everything lol. 
So far he has knocked the curtain rod off

for the price it good except the screw metal weak and could have had a %232 Phillips head.
