Setup process is straightforward with helpful guidance.

Offers advanced features, but can be unintuitive.

It seems to do a good job  of vacuuming and has the option of mopping after vacuum which what I use in the kitchen. It has a carpet feature too which works well. I don't have any pets nor little children so it's basically used for light cleaning in my livingroom & kitchen.

Roborock ROCKS!

The Roborock S5 Max is genuinely great at its core tasks: it vacuums thoroughly, maps intelligently, and mops competently. Most days it starts, cleans the entire floor, mops where requested, and returns to base without any human help. However, the lack of basic status feedback (water level and bag fullness) in an otherwise feature-rich app feels like a strange omission in 2025, and the minor mechanical quirks (spinning, dragging the mat, overly sensitive sensor warnings) add up over time.
If you can accept physically checking the water tank and accepting the occasional odd behavior, it is still one of the best value robot vacuum/mop hybrids available. If you strongly prefer a more “finished” experience with proper tank/bag monitoring and quieter emptying, consider stepping up to the newer Roborock Q Revo or S8 series.
Recommended with the above reservations – a solid 4-star performer that could easily be 4.7 stars with a few software and minor hardware refinements.

Very good daily cleaner with a few persistent annoyances

I have only used it once so far and it seems to be doing a relatively good job for a robot.  I am still learning all about it and how to map.  The reviews by GROk seem to be good too so I'm looking forward to having this extra hand around.  Especially like the mopping and the choice of either just vacuuming and or vacuuming %26 mopping. It also does short pile carpetting which is an added bonus and since I don't have pets , this Roborock should have a long life.

Robo is ROCKING my space!

Very satisfied. Took a few tries to get the docking and washing working OK but once it fully charged and became familiar with the surroundings, it does a great job. Not scrubbed clean but removes dog prints and drools just fine.

Roborock Q10 VF works great

It's okay on vacuuming - it got stuck several times and I had to pull it out. Haven't tried the mopping function yet - if it isn't good then back it goes.

Working okay so far... vacuum only at present

First regarding the robot itself, it cleans bare floors and carpet well, but it has had errors. Example, we mapped the 1st floor as needed to started out and then had it clean the floor once. Then the next time we send it out to do a full clean, it went down the front hallway and rammed into the hall closet door over and over again for 10 minutes until I picked it up and moved it and gave "threshold error" on the app. Nothing changed between the mapping and when it got stuck!

The app is not intuitive. For example, if you want to create a new room, you can't just create a boundary line in space where you want it and save it. If you do, it will just "ERROR" with no explanation. You have to subdivide a previously created room and then subdivide again.

Cleans well, but the App has problems, and the Robot gets stuck for no reason.

One son came back home and brought his cat. And then the other son came back home and brought his cat. And then my husband bought me a cat.

I bought the Q10 S5+ and loved it so much I bought one for my parents.

It brings some sanity and cat hair control to my life. I docked one star because the instructions aren't as clear as they could be around setting and differentiating between rooms and zones, as well as using the vacuum on different floors. Other than that, it's been wonderful.

Bought one for me and one for my parents

Does a very good job with vacuuming and navigation, but severely disappointed in the self-empty feature.  Cat hair will not empty from the dust bin, requiring me to pull the filter and manually empty after every cleaning cycle.  I tried all of their troubleshooting--it just doesn't have the suction to pull cat hair effectively from the dust bin.

Great, except for one issu

My Q5 Pro had much less technical flaws than my new Q10 S5+. The Q10 gets stuck in places it shouldn't get stuck, then goes into error mode until I get home to free the helpless heep. It does clean well, empty into it's trash bin somewhat decently. But it gets stuck everyday as to where my Q5 Pro never got stuck.

My Honest Opinion (Q10 S5+)

The first time I used it, it worked fine. It docked itself when told to. Everything was great. The second time I used it, it acted like it had gone berserk. It said various wheels were jammed, but they were not jammed. I must have fussed with them 20 times. I wiped off the sensors. I cleaned out any hair in all the wheels. It will not continuously run.
