Solid mug. My coffee stays so hot that I still have to drink it slow after 4 hours (even in a cold room). I put it in a backpack for the day. Doesn't leak. Good for cold drinks too. Cold water stayed cold in 30C degree heat on the beach. Outside of the mug was burning hot but there was still ice in the water.
