I did some research and found information on various tests comparing the water quality for various filters, and this one seems to outperform others.

It does stop flowing when it is left inside the frigde (maybe because of the temperature), but not when it is left outside. The water is fresh and clean, which is the most importat to me. The design makes it very practical.

I like this filter

Works as expected. Our main concerns was the chlorine smell from water. This does the job well.

I sneezed and they asked me to review tissue paper

I followed instructions in the provided booklet to soak filter to remove bubbles and then dispose of first 2 fills. I tasted the water in the 3 fill and it had a strong metallic taste that stayed in my mouth and throat. Awful filter system. I will be returning. I tried calling the customer service phone number 1 (888) 352-3558 but I couldn't reach a person.

Water stops flowing frequently. I have to empty it, resubmerge the filter in a deep pot of water for a while and reinstall. I have to do it regardless of making sure water stays in the tank. It's a pain in the butt.
