It's rough kneading on my sensitive feet, but it's fantastic for my calves. The slots aren't wide enough for a big man's calves but are fine for an average woman. I wear a US women's size 10 shoe, and my feet fill the space. The locking handle is handy for positioning. The remote has very little range, like maybe 12" lol.

Nice machine, quiet, it had nice touches like a remote control. We returned it because it caused pain and found no way to adjust it to our liking. Perhaps it will work out for others but for my wife and I, it's not what we were hoping for.
