Can be sturdy with secure snap-on design, but may also be flimsy with peeling paint and broken snaps.

Paint peels quickly and wood quality is subpar.

This pirate ship sand box is on my covered porch. It is nicer than I expected and well worth the cost. My son loves it and it is enjoyable to look at. I put 7 bags of play sand in it but 5 will do fine. Also comes with nice cover for the sand and you can store toys in bench. Love!

Quality materials and it went together well. My daughter (2 1/2 years old) LOVES it!!! We played with it without sand for a couple weeks and it was just as fun with the little compartments for her to put things in and she'd sit and drive the boat. And before sand was in it we moved it around (easily moved with two people) and that helped us decide where we'd like it best. The only downside is (like other reviews have said, too) the snaps for the cover don't stay snapped well.

This is very beautiful. We purchased this pirate sandship for my grandsons second birthday. The directions are very easy to follow but takes time to put together. You must remember to apply outdoor finish to the wood to protect it outdoors. We applied 3 coats of finish to all the wood parts. It does come with a mesh snap on cover to protect it from animals while still letting the sand recieve moisture like it's suppose to. Three kids can have a blast in this pirate sandship. All parts were there and nothing was damaged. Looks even better in person when put together than in picture on here.

This boat is so eye catching. I used a sheet of plywood to make a bottom. Then took and put it on wheels from a wagon. What an amazing fun boat.

It is winter so it is still in the box... lol Delivery was fast though and we cant wait until spring to set it up for the grandkids.

Very nice boat. Fairly easy to put together. Well built. Kids love it. We stocked it with hats, eye patches, and booty that can be sifted in the sand. A big hit.

Pirate sandbox

It's so adorable. Cuter and larger than the picture. My 2 year old son has plenty of room to play. We get alot of rain in south florida so I'm hoping the wood stands up to weather

The sandbox was very nice. We were missing a piece but they sent it out and it took about 7 days to receive it. Other then that everything was nice and my son loves it. I get compliments on it all the time.

Really cute item, looks great and is exciting for the kiddos; however, I cannot give five stars because some (not all) of the craftsmanship is a bit lacking. The cover is very poorly made and the snaps have already broken after just a few uses. Some of the wood is chipping off as well. I plan to call the company about the cover, as the cheap mesh one that it came with looks nothing like the one On their web site.Overall though, visually this is a nice item.

Cute, but...

All the paint is already coming off and the wood is not very durable

I bought this for my sons pirate themed birthday party and filled it with plastic balls instead of sand to entertain the kids. The kids loved it and it was perfect for the party; however, it is now falling apart and it has only been a few short months. The wheel is now faded, the paint in cracking, and the wood is splintering. Being that it is made to be outside, I thought it would hold up more. I also wish that it had a more secure bottom rather than a plastic tarp and a nicer cover to keep unwanted bugs out. Overall, I would not recommend this product especially since it costs $200.
