Only drawback is that it really needs 2 people to operate, one to crank and one to hold casings.  Electric would be better but much more expensive for occasional use.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. We made a batch of sausages after receiving and are extremely pleased. Before purchasing, I did read the reviews. Some suggested that the meat leaked out the tube. We had zero issues when using the machine. We own an electric grinder/stuffer but this is much easier to use and much quicker. Very happy with the quality of the unit. We would definitely recommend this unit.
