The unique AirFree vent is designed to draw air away from the nipple keeping it full of milk to avoid air ingestion. This vent also keeps the nipple full of milk even when the bottle is held horizontal, allowing for upright feeding. Feeding in an upright position can help to reduce reflux and aid in digestion. The nipple shape is designed for a secure latch for a comfortable feed. The bottle is easy to clean and assemble with few parts. The AirFree vent is only one piece and is easy to clean without any special tools. The Anti-colic bottle features a valve, integrated into the nipple, that reduces vacuum buildup and reducing air into your baby’s tummy. Four sealing discs included to turn the bottles into storage containers, store and feed from the same container. The bottle warmer is designed to gently heat milk evenly without hot spots. My overall impression is very positive,the set came with everything I needed to get started feeding and soothing my baby, which was very convenient. The bottles really helped with reducing gas and colic, and I noticed my baby was more comfortable and less fussy after feedings. Cleaning and assembling the bottles was simple, and I was impressed with the quality and sturdy design. What I liked most was the AirFree vent, since it kept the nipple full of milk and reduced the amount of air my baby swallowed. Overall, this set made feeding time easier and gave me peace of mind as a parent,I'd definitely recommend it.

A Must Have Bottle Set for Reducing Colic

Perfect starter set. Not only were they easy to set up but they were easy to clean throughly and limited parts. These bottles used a system to help reduce gas and I  truly think that they helped my colicky baby get better sleep through the night. Great bottle system set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle With AirFree Vent Newborn Gift Set is truly a help for life with a new baby! My little one is 3 months old and combo fed, breast and bottle. She has used both sizes of bottles and has had no issues latching on the nipple sizes 2 and 3. The new airfree vent is easy to clean and use. 
Note to users not to open the cap upside down or on its side, it does leak from under the lid and on the nipple. If you use it properly, this won't be an issue. It doesn't seem like my baby is more or less gassy than using other bottles. For parents who have used the traditional style and nipples of Philips Avent baby bottles, it's worth noting that the bottles and lids appear the same size, but the threading is different, so they are not interchangeable. 
The brush included has strong bristles perfect for cleaning dried milk residue. Overall, a great set with everything needed for bottle feeding for you or to give as a gift! I received this bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but this review is my own.

Great baby registry idea

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Anti-Colic Baby Bottle With AirFree Vent Newborn Gift Set was a really nice starter set. My baby is 9 months old and primarily breastfed, and he was able to use the Level 1 nipples without any issues. The faster flow nipples were too quick for him since he is used to breastfeeding, but I think they would work well as babies get older or for babies who are bottle-fed more often. The bottles themselves were easy to clean and assemble, and I liked that they fit securely with no leaking. The included bottle brush fit well inside the bottles and made cleaning simple, and I loved that it's a bristle brush rather than a sponge since it feels sturdier and more durable.

The pacifier was a bit too small for my 9-month-old, but it would be a great option for a newborn. Overall, I was impressed with the quality and thoughtful design of this set. I would recommend it for parents looking for bottles that reduce gas and colic while being easy to use and clean.

Everything you need

Prior to receiving these bottles we were using a competitor brand for our little guy who is 2 months old. So glad to have had the opportunity to try these out because they are a game changer when it comes to decreasing gas pain and hiccups for him. We were honestly able to notice a difference right away. This set makes a wonderful gift for parents as it comes with different bottle and nipples sizes as well as pacifiers that grow with newborns. The bottle cleaner is a nice bonus.!We love that the bottles are easy to assemble, take apart, and clean. Super important because like many parents, we are often short on time!

Great Gift Set

Overall, this is a great little set to get started with your baby. I like that there were two different size bottles, so that once baby graduates to the higher ounces, you are ready to go. The cleaning brush, extra nipples, and pacifier were great additions to the set. The bottle was easy to take apart & put back together after cleaning. It took my daughter a few tries to get the hang of drinking out of this bottle, but once she mastered it, it worked very well. She had a little bit more spit up than normal after the first use, but didn't have much gas.

Great Starter Set

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the bottle frequently leaking if the vent piece was not on JUST right, but this could have been user error. The vent system really helped reduce gas and fussiness during feedings by keeping the nipple full of milk, not air. I can tell my baby prefers these bottles already. I found the bottles simple to put together and take apart, and cleaning them was quick since there are less parts. The quality feels durable, and the clear measurement markings are easy to read. What I liked most is how the vent design gave me peace of mind knowing my baby was swallowing less air, making feedings smoother and calmer for both of us. Noticeable difference in my babys comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent Anti-colic Baby Bottle with AirFree Vent Newborn Gift set through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I thought the set came with a nice selection of bottles and nipples to get started, and I appreciated that it included everything you'd need right from the beginning. The design feels sturdy, the bottles are easy to assemble and take apart, and they were straightforward to clean, which is always a big plus for busy parents.

That said, this set wasn't the best fit for my baby. The nipples were narrow with a wide base, which made it hard for my baby to get a good grip or consistent latch. Another issue was with the AirFree vent: milk often collected in the bottom section, and because there are only two small holes for it to flow through, the last few drops would get stuck. To get the milk out, I had to rotate the bottle, which ended up disturbing my baby during feedings.

In terms of reducing colic or gas, I didn't notice a big difference compared to other bottles we've used. My older kids had no trouble drinking from these bottles, so I do think they may work better for older babies or toddlers who already have a stronger, more established feeding rhythm.

What I liked most about the set was how easy it was to clean and how durable the bottles felt. I just wish the nipple shape and vent system worked better for younger babies, especially for mine who struggled with latch and flow.

Not the Best Fit for My Baby

The agent bottle only works if you've attached everything PERFECTLY, and when you do, it's an impeccable bottle. If you don't, however, it is awful to use; the bottle pours out or explodes on you, your baby can't get ANYTHING out of it, you think your baby's feeding but then you check and they haven't gotten anything out of it. It's the most frustrating bottle I've used, and I hate it. When it works one in ten times, I love it, but good luck. Even following every step to set it up to a tee doesn't guarantee it will function properly.

Great bottle. Also the most truly TERRIBLE bottle.
