She especially liked that she could create both real and silly faces, and even make boy characters. The double-sided options were a big hit because they gave her more variety to play with.

One of her favorite parts was being able to do the makeup, adding eyeshadow, lipstick, and even goofy eyebrows. She thought it was a great way for kids who aren't allowed to wear real makeup yet to have fun experimenting in a creative way.

The only small downside was that it was a little tricky to swap the plates in and out, but overall, she gave it a 19 out of 20!

Highly recommend for any kids who love creative play!

My 2 kiddos had a blast making different faces with this set. There are great styles to choose from and the stickers are a great addition.  They have each made numerous designs and yet to duplicate each other with their finished style. The storage bag is great to have for keeping the pieces all together and no need to hang onto the box. Overall a great set for creative fun and I highly recommend this!

Love this!!

This was a fun project for both my 7-year-old and my 11-year-old daughters.  There are four double sided rubbing plates with hair on them and four double sided rubbing plates with facial features on them.  This provides a large variety of combinations to try.  There is also a stencil to include additional details and plenty of stickers.  This is an activity that can be as quick or long as you want depending on who is doing it.   That is perfect because it works for people of differing attention spans and interest in art.  The only downside is that there are only 20 sheets of the skin tone paper and I have no idea where to get more.  It will work with whatever paper you have but it is nice to have the other options.

Making Faces

My nieces spent a fun afternoon making fashion faces with Fashion Plates: Fashion Faces.  It was reminiscent of the plates my sisters and I used, except that this one focuses on the features of the face and hair.  You can be as literal or as creative as you want using the vast variety of plates and supplies.  This kit is great for artistic and creative children/pre-teens/teens who are interested in fashion and glamour.  This kit is easy to use and I like that they can use it over and over again with different results.  It is a playful and entertaining kit.

Artistic, Creative, Fun

My kids and I really enjoyed playing with these Fashion Faces. There are a lot of different faces, hairstyles, papers, stencils and stickers. I like that the papers where all different shades of skin colors. It even comes with crayons to color them after you make them.

A lot of Fun

My 11 yr old boy and my 13 yr old divergent daughter both played with this together.  They both thought it was a lot more fun than they originally anticipated.  They loved having so many faces, plates, designs, skin tones, stickers , and stencils to choose from. And it was all included!!! My only critique would  be if it were me I'd offer additional plates and faces in packs to purchase separately if the kids get bored with what they have. I am going to supervise closely and let my 4 year 9ld granddaughter join in on the fun as I believe she'll love it as well.

Great for all ages

My 6 year old daughter really loved this kit.  I liked that she had to work on lining up the paper in the frame as well as doing the actual art.  Crafts like this one have helped my kids with small motor function and detail work. This kit reminded me a lot of a kit I had when I was a kid and it was fun to work together alongside my daughter although this is an activity she could do completely on her own.  She loved the stencils, stickers and storage bag.

Fun accessories

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. This product was so much fun! There are so many options for face and hair templates that mix and match perfectly. It is easy to set up and rub the face design on the papers, and even more fun to be able to color it in. There are multiple skin color tones for your face, which is really cool to see! The bonus stickers added a nice pop to the designs too. It is a very fun activity that can be as quick or as long as the kids want. Even adults can have fun with it!

FASHION YOUR FACE!

Fun and easy creative representation activity! My 13 year old said that she would prefer to just draw a face on her own rather than using Fashion Faces. Fun and mess free activity for children 6 and up!
