From the moment we set it up, I was impressed. The assembly was quick and easy, and my little one looked comfortable right away, which gave me peace of mind.
One of my favorite features is the 2-in-1 versatility. Being able to switch between the swing and the soothing nest is incredibly convenient, especially throughout different parts of the day. The transition between modes is simple and doesn’t feel like a hassle at all, which is exactly what you need when you’re juggling a baby and everything else.
The range of positions is another big win. I love that it goes from sitting up to laying down, giving my baby flexibility depending on her mood. The motions are gentle and smooth, never too much, and they don’t cause any motion sickness. It’s clear a lot of thought went into making it both effective and safe.
The SensorySoothe technology and cry detection really stood out to me. It’s honestly such a helpful bonus feature. Whenever my little one starts to cry, the swing automatically adjusts the motions, sounds, and lights until it finds something that calms her. It feels like having an extra set of hands, and it actually works.
As for the design, it’s beautiful. The fabrics feel soft and high-quality, and the overall look blends seamlessly into my home decor. It doesn’t look bulky or out of place like some baby gear can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly love the Elara 2 in 1 Smart Motion Swing and Soothing Nest. It has been such a helpful addition to our home. As a mom, anything that gives me a few extra minutes while keeping baby calm and happy is a win.

One of my favorite features is that it can be used two different ways. The swing mode is great when baby wants that gentle side to side motion, and the soothing nest option feels more cozy and reclined. It is nice being able to switch it up depending on baby’s mood.

The motion settings are amazing. There are multiple speeds and different movement patterns, so I can actually find what baby responds to best. Some days baby wants something very gentle, and other days a slightly stronger motion works better. I also love that it rotates, so I can position it toward me in the kitchen or toward the living room without moving the whole base around.

The built in lights and sounds are another big plus. The soft lights and music really help create a calming environment. The cry detection feature is surprisingly helpful too. When baby starts fussing, it automatically responds, which has saved me so many times when I am in the middle of something.

The fabric feels soft and breathable, and it looks nice in our space. It does not look bulky or out of place like some baby gear can. It feels sturdy and well made, which gives me peace of mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying several swings, this is by far the best in terms of looks, colors, and compactness. Baby also felt very comfortable. The swinging motions was able to calm my baby. What a great deal that you get two recline settings. My baby love the more up position. I also love that I can control it on my app because what mom isn’t placing a baby onto a swing when she needs to free her hands for other mom duties. As I watch baby from the kitchen making dinner for the other kids, I can adjust the swinging motion to calm. I wish I could love the cry detection but it just didn’t work for us. Comfortable and Soothing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a parent, I’m always looking for baby gear that makes life easier (who isn’t?!), and this baby swing definitely brings some impressive features to the table. One of my favorite things about it is the app control. Being able to adjust the swing settings right from my phone is very convenient. The cry detection is also a standout feature. When the baby starts crying, the swing automatically activates soothing sounds, movement, and soft lights. It feels like having an extra set of hands, which is priceless during busy days. I also love the versatility of the two positions. The upright swing works great for alert, awake time, while the soothing nest position is perfect for calming and resting. The neutral color looks great in our house and does not stick out; our house is full of neutral colors, so it matches everything nicely. Comfort-wise, the seat is cozy and supportive, and it feels sturdy and secure overall. For the negatives, the swing seems to be a better fit for younger or smaller babies (less than 6 months). I also wish the straps had padding; while they’re secure, a little extra cushioning would make them more comfortable. Some of the motion settings can feel slightly jerky rather than smooth, which may not work for every baby. Lastly, the technology bar could benefit from being extendable; a bit more length would improve positioning and overall usability, especially for larger babies. Where Comfort Meets Innovation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been loving the Elara 2-in-1 Smart Motion Swing & Soothing Nest so far. First of all: it’s gorgeous. The design is super chic and actually looks good in our home, which is not something I can say about most baby gear.

I really like the 2-in-1 feature of switching between the swing and soothing nest. It’s easy to change modes when I need to, which matters when you have a baby who’s already mid-fuss. The seat is deep and cozy, so he feels really nested in it. I definitely think that helps him settle and nap longer.

The SensorySoothe features have been great too. My baby is obsessed with the lights above him, and I love that there are multiple motion and sound options depending on his mood. The cry detection is reassuring and helpful when I can’t get to him immediately.

Using the Evenflo app has also been simple and convenient. It’s nice being able to adjust settings from my phone without disturbing him once he’s calm.

A must-have for baby AND parents!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the only products where I genuinely feel it's a real 2-for-1 product. There's a lot to unpack with this product, so let's dive right in. 

As always, let's begin with the positives:

First, assembly. To be honest, this was delivered to my house while I was at work so my husband set it up without me. But I didn't receive any phone calls or texts about how "annoying" it was, so I'm assuming set up was relatively easy. However, I will make a note about the shoulder straps. I had to adjust the straps to be the highest setting (my baby is 5 months old) and it was a total pain - you have to take the strap all the way out and force it back through. I suppose that means that the straps are actually useful and safe for baby, but boy was it annoying while doing it. 

Next, style. I'm a sucker for the "new age modern" decor and this fits in perfectly. I absolutely love the color scheme on this. It looks high-end while remaining beautifully simple. The wood accent on the top of the light is really pleasing to look at. Plus I love the white seat cushion. I know most people are probably turned off by white cushioned anything for their baby, but so far it's held up against my baby's constant messes. Time will tell how well it does after it goes through it's first blow out though!

Finally, function. And there are multiple functions to discuss here.
App - I need to start off by saying that I love the app. Most apps that control products (especially baby products) are dumpy at best. But this app is really intuitive and easy to use! Now the features in the app are AMAZING. My husband and I were legitimately excited to try them all out! We cannot get over how "cool" the features are! You can choose from different soothing playlists where the light/sound/motion work together to create a "scene" for your baby that is just so fun! You can make it high energy and super entertaining or lowkey and relaxing. The cry detection feature was a really neat idea as well, although I will say it did not help my little guy stop crying (once he was done in the chair, he was done lol). 

Chair/Bassinet - I was really skeptical on how well this product would transition from chair to bassinet, but boy was I humbled. It's crazy how easy it is! And the baby can remain in the product during the transition, which I love because if he started falling asleep, I'd just quickly lay it down for him. It also seemed very comfortable, but my baby isn't exactly picky about comfort so take that with a grain of salt if yours is. 

Light - Probably my favorite feature honestly. The changing lights could hold my baby's attention for hours (not literally, probably more like 20-30 minutes though!). And the fact that I could change them/control them from my phone made me SO happy too. 

Sounds - Finally a product that doesn't blow my baby's eardrums out! And there's so much more than just the "classic" sounds (white noise, birds chirping, water running, etc.) too! 
 
Now let's get to the negatives:

By far the most negative aspect about this product is the high-pitch beeping noise that the motor makes while it's in motion. It's so bad that my husband literally needs to leave the room after a few minutes because he can't stand it. However, I will say that while it's one of those "once you hear it, you can't unhear it" noises, I wasn't bothered by it NEARLY as bad as he was. In fact, it hardly bothered me at all. So it probably depends on how sensitive you are to high-pitch noises. 

Next negative, you need to physically turn the product on in order for the app to work. Maybe that's not a deal breaker for some, but that aspect really bothered me. I'd be putting my baby in the seat while also playing with my toddler, so I'd quickly try to turn on a fun scene for him via the app and would ALWAYS be disappointed that I forgot to turn the dang thing on first. I don't understand why you can turn it on via the app, but can control literally everything else (including turning it off?) via the app.  

Overall, I would say this is a very awesome product. Are there minor annoyances? Sure, but again, none of the negatives are really big deals (at least to me). Even so, the positives FAR outweigh any of the negatives. If you're looking for something fun to help you entertain your baby that's not TV, then this product is for you. I would highly recommend to anyone with a baby that's 6 months old or less. A big thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant swing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elara 2-in-1 Smart Motion Swing & Soothing Nest is a beautiful and functional addition to our living room. So many baby devices can be an eye sore and this fits seamlessly our space. The plush padding and five point harness provide both comfort and security.

I really appreciate the flexibility of switching between the swing and nest modes. Our little one enjoys both modes and it's easy to transition between the two. The SensorySoothe light and sound options quickly calm our son and there is a realistic variety to choose from. I also liked the many motion options. The seat also rotates 90 degrees, for even more versatility. Controlling through the mobile app was straight forward. 

Overall the design is beautiful, soothing and easy to operate. The only drawbacks were that the that the cry detection feature worked most of the time but occasionally missed the initial cries, and the swing’s motion was slightly louder than expected.
