The outer layer of the massager is removable for hand cleaning; let air dry. 
To turn the unit on, you need to hard-press the power button. It will automatically start massaging. 
The massager has 2 kneading speeds, has 2 heat levels, and 3 massaging modes. The massager has an auto 10 minute shut off. The massager lasts approximately 80 minutes of use before needing to be recharged. Charging takes approximately 3 hours for a full charge. 
You can also use it on any body part of your choosing as it's small, compact, and portable. 
You can use the massager hands-free with the attached belt (extendable), which isn't a buckle style clasp, but a lever style; or use the hand straps to get that perfect designated spot!

Really wanted to like this massager. It hurt more than it felt good. The style of the massager is a no for me. I've tried a different one with rolling balls and that one is worth the buy. The way the test is designed on this one doesn't reach you because the massager blocks them.
