[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed my first experience with the Lagostina pan! I was able to melt my butter directly without fear of the explosion haha! In addition, after cooking my chicken thighs, the dish was cleaned very easily; nothing remained stuck. I love this kind of tool for the kitchen since these are dishes that can really be used for long years and they are perfect for anything that is roasting!

It is a little on the heavy side , but works amazingly, easy cleanup. Excited to try out some new recipes and making meal prep easier.

Great addition to the kitchen

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was so excited to try out the Lagostina cast iron Dutch Oven! I've wanted a Dutch oven for a long time and this was my first time using one. I made Turkey soup and it did not disappoint. So easy to brown the meat in the oven first and then move the pot to the stove top to continue with browning the onions and celery and then added everything to the pot to continue cooking! Use if this Dutch oven for all the steps made cooking and clean up so easy! The quality of this cast iron pot exceeded my expectations and it's a beautiful design. A true centre piece on our kitchen shelf! Would totally recommend!

Cooking Dreams Come True

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This Dutch oven is amazing! It's sleek, modern looking, and extremely durable. It's extremely heavy so I had to be extra careful carrying it around or when placing it on the glass stove or sink. I made the mistake of not using oil before frying meats so it was very difficult to remove the stuck food. The next time I used it and used oil, it worked great and was easier to remove the stuck on food. Made great stews in it and we're totally using it again this weekend. Worth every penny and it's gorgeous to look at.

Great Dutch Oven!

You've hit peak adulthood when you're jumping up and down over this. I couldn't wait to cook something up as soon as I got my hands on it and it did not disappoint! I made a pot roast and it cooked to perfection. This retails for quite a bit but it's absolutely worth it. Staple piece that will be used in my kitchen constantly and will hopefully last for years! Also the colours are gorgeous, white with a rose gold/ copper handle with engraved details. Love!!

Dutch oven heaven

There's a small imperfection in the glaze along the rim of the lid but it did not impact use. The perfect cookware for soups, stews, roasts… what can't it do? A new go to in my kitchen for cooking!

Stunningly beautiful!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I got Lagostina 6Quart Enameled cast iron dutch oven/ casserole pot from influenster. When I held it, my first reaction was 'woo that is really heavy!', including the lid - obviously it's made of cast iron. The casserole has got the enamel finish which makes it look high quality. The dish I made in this pot is the Thai green curry. What I really love about this product is that it's safe for cooking, I don't have to worry about if it releases toxins when used in long term or in high heat; when cooking something the food doesn't stick to the pan compare to other enameled cookware that sticks to the pan and this can be placed in the oven, and it's easily washable. As mentioned earlier it's heavy to carry unlike other cast iron, and if you cook stew or something that fills the entire pot it's going to be even more heavier that's the only drawback I would say and that's why the 4 star, so if you are unable to carry or move it else where you may need to ask someone stronger to help you out. Other than that I would definitely recommend people to buy this pan for long lasting use plus the package says it lifetime warranty, even better!

Loved it!!!

I bought mine a year ago and it's chipped, the finish inside is stained and the enamel is pitting away. This is my second one as I thought I was doing something wrong with the first pot but clearing it's a manufacturing issue. I always wash with soap and soft sponge too!

Unfortunately I didn't unbox this before it was too late to return it.  I had planned to give it as a gift.  Thank goodness I saw the horrible finish in time. Lagostina must not have any quality control because this should not have been sold as anything other than a factory second.
