I bought it a month ago. The color is awesome. I am single and was worried that it would be big. But it is just the right size for a single person or for a family.
Quick to boil the water, but most importantly beautiful to look at. It make me smile every morning when I reach to pick it up.

Beautiful kettle to use every morning!!

I bought one when I moved into my new home 5yrs ago and it finally broke down. Saying that this kettle was used every day 8-10 times and I never once had any issues. In the end the seal went on the bottom

I bought it on line, unfortunetely I had to return it because it was leaking on one side of the little window....but they work very well...it lights up when you plug it in....automatic stop when the water is boiling....great feature!

Beautiful kettle

I bought this about 6 months ago and still love it. The shape is attractive, the colour is lovely and everyone goes 'oooh' at the blue light. Small design flaw. The strainer got knocked out on occasion by the tap when we were filling it. I did a little bendy thing with it to stretch the claws out and now it holds on tight, no. My daughter is buying one tomorrow

Space ship on my counter!

I love my new kettle! The colour is perfect...the red I always look for. And it's neat watching the kettle when it boils...looks like a lava lamp!! Have just been using for a month, but so far so good!!

Great Kettle

This kettle appears to have gremlins. The piece of plastic that is the on button...comes off.
Ot also shuts itself off before it boils...at random times.
Usually Oster brand is well built. That doesn't appear to be the case this time. I'm not overly impressed with this one.

Unimpressive and disappointed

We bought this kettle a couple of weeks ago and are definitely going to return it! Hoping that it's just a defect but by looking at the design I have a feeling the next one will have the same issue.. The spout/pourer on the kettle leaks from the bottom somehow. When pouring, steady drips of water leak out onto the counter top outside of the cup and make quite the mess. It looks like it's fine and no obvious gaps or anything so I'm thinking it's a design flaw and that the manufacturer needed better/back-up sealing where the spout attaches to the base of the kettle. Other than that it looks awesome and heats great. Love the bright blue light inside! The light is better than a lot of other kettles we've tried. And it's great that there's a button/pad to put your finger on to close the lid, since the top is a sort of reflective silver colour, to stop fingerprints.

Leaky but nice to look at!

Nice looking kettle but....

This item is flawed bough it on Saturday at Walmart, cleaned it and used it right away Found water on my counter after use. Everyone thought it was from the dishes asI have it near the sink. Today is Monday and with water underneath it daily I decided to take a closer look at it. There is a design flaw and on the right hand side of the spout at the bottom the see thru panel is where it leaks out. Gong to return today.Going to pick up one from a different company.

Do not buy!!

WHATEVER YOU DO - DO NOT BUY THIS (or any OSTER) APPLIANCES!!!
Besides my loss - please do not support a company that produces appliances that end up in the landfill in the time frame of ONE YEAR!!!
Here is my story:
I bought this Kettle in December 2017.
One year later, it broke (the seal broke and it leaked water).
I emailed OSTER, and I urged them to replace with a different model, as I felt that this was a weak design, and that it would brake again, but they ended up sending me the same model. 
And guess what!?
Exactly ONE year later - it broke again, in the exact same way.
I emailed OSTER again, but this time to let me know that my warranty was no longer valid, as it had been 2 years since my initial purchase...!!!
And they REFUSED to send me a new kettle.
I have called them 7 times, and still NO resolution!
WHATEVER YOU DO - DO NOT BUY OSTER APPLIANCES!!!
Besides my loss - please do not support a company that produces appliances that end up in the landfill in the time frame of ONE YEAR!!!
(the kettle I had before this lasted me for 15 years!)

THE WORST QUALITY KETTLE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
