We had an initial hiccup with our first unit and customer service sent us a new one right away. The new unit cleans so well and the carpets are nearly dry by the time you're finished. We go over them a couple times with soap, and then a couple more times with just water, to pull our residual soap. It's incredible how much dog hair is pulled out even after vacuuming multiple times with a brand new vacuum. Check my photos to see how it brought a shag rug back to life. Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our apartment was slowly becoming more and more stale no matter how much I cleaned. We have one cat and it always smelled like a mix of various cat smells and just general "stink." I vacuumed all the time but I noticed our carpet never looked or felt clean. Decided to get this carpet cleaning vacuum so I could really go all in on deep cleaning it. I didn't want to rent one of the big machines because I wanted something permanent I could use at any time and I wanted something with a hose attachment so I could spot clean as needed and clean my couch and other upholstered items. Well, this vacuum literally has been game-changing! I did a full deep clean of all our carpets and suddenly our place smelled so fresh and the carpets looked equally as clean. So much dirt and cat litter and hair and more were in the dirty water tank after cleaning, it blew my mind! I can't believe we were living with that much dirt before. I've also used it to clean our couch which again was amazing how clean it was afterwards (and disgusting thinking how dirty it was). I love how easy this vacuum is to set up and use. Just fill up the water tank and the solution tank, plug in, and you're ready to go! It automatically switches between cleaning and drying as you push forward and pull back which makes it that much easier. It also has "dry only" mode. The instructions recommended running with the solution first and then doing a "rinse" of your carpet by removing the solution tank and cleaning again to get all the leftover residue out. I followed that recommendation and will be doing that every time because it seems like it really helped with freshening the carpet. Overall I love this vacuum so much and never thought I'd get such joy from a vacuum but it's the real deal. #sweepstakes

Literally game-changing carpet cleaning

Look at the pics

I've had this for 6 months. I used it to move into a new apartment and it was used for occasional spills and messes from a toddler. About a month ago I noticed it was getting kind of Smoky with use. I tried to use it again last week with the windows open to see what was happening. My entire apartment was smoky within minutes and I noticed the silver plate at the bottom the plastic has started to peel and warp. Something is wrong with the belt or motors and I'm currently trying to get the problem resolved with Hoover. Before all the problems it worked wonders and is easy to clean. But I'm not sure if it's worth it if the occasional use breaks it in 6 months
