I purchased this ceramic coated pan as an alternative to the traditional black coloured porcelain on steel roaster pans.  As for the latter, I was tired of very hard to clean polymerized cooking oils that form a film on them from roasting at high heats -- for example, frozen french fries at 450 F.

The Pros: 
- it is, as I expected, much easier to clean than the porcelain on steel pans
- the silicone handles do not melt or get damaged at 450 F
- the silicone handles can be easily removed and re-inserted if desired; the seven tear-shaped grippers on either side, in fact consist of one mold that can be inserted into their respective holes in the pan
- the pan and its ceramic coating appears to be of good quality; it feels solid, and after two months of use, there are no chips; it comes with a 25 year manufacturer's warranty

The Cons:
- the pan has become discoloured (darkened areas) with use, even once completely cleaned; the discolouration is uneven, and seems to affect the ceramic itself, and does not appear to be removable

Unlike the traditional black porcelain on steel roasting pans, this pan quickly becomes unevenly discoloured with use, and this may be a turn off for some, who might expect it to retain its original beautiful off-white colour; however, for me, its excellent non-chemical non-stick properties and easy clean up makes it a favourite.
