Rated 5 out of 5 by from Inexpensive best alternative to the other brand w a Z . Bought for daughter in college /first apartment - just the right size - best part she's able to cook porridge and no need to stand in front of stove stirring . Been using rice cooker for long time so didn't bother reading the manual and first time heard the clicking sound - checked troubleshooting page and learned it's normal - rice came out fine so all is good .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to use, Perfection. Bought and returned a few rice makers this month, this is a keeper. Perfect rice made in the stated time, kept on warm setting for over an hour and no burnt, hard or crusty rice... just a dream. Only used once, just purchased today. Buy it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value and modern looking Got it about a month ago. It cooks white rice and brown rice nicely (I haven't try other things) and it is easy to clean. The low profile modern design and good price were the main reasons I bought it. I recommend getting it, especially if it is on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for Porridge I was looking for a rice cooker that can make porridge and this one exactly satisfied my need. Very easy to use and non-stick. The only thing is that the inner lid is not removable for cleaning.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleek Styling Offset by Black Utility Cord Sleek gloss white shell is uglyified by a very utilitarian black electrical cord. Hinged lid opens and closes nicely. Water level graduations on the non-stick pan are difficult to read in all but the most direct light. For me the thing takes up more counter space than desirable at 14" deep x 9-1/2" wide x 7-3/4". The size is reasonable though if one needs to make 5 cups of rice day in and day out. My rice making needs are more modest than that and probably will not use the steamer function. For my daily use I really have capacity overkill. One more observation on the unit's construction concerns the flexible membrane function buttons. I have to wonder how ware resistant over time and use they will be. Likely not an issue with my expected usage of once or twice a week though. Have yet to reconcile the conflicting proportions (rice to water) recommend in the instruction booklet with those on the unit itself. Trial & error and guesstimating, using one of the instructions as a departure point, will eventually get you some rice that is not too hard or soggy. Be patient with your experimentation because long grain white rice takes 38 minutes to cook. Once cooking is complete the machine shifts to warming mode. Too long on warm mode however, rice will brown at the pan's bottom.
