[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Mechanical pencils are the way to go. Mu grandson is always asking me to get them for him. He does a lot writing, has test with click pencil still going.  No sharpener to caret around. We have the ones with the emojis and he shares with his friends. Recommended for school kids.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought these would be perfect for my son in college as he was complaining of his hand aching from having to write a lot more than he is use to. With this Paper Mate mechanical pencil it's easier to write for extended times because it's slim shape and cushioned grip, and the lead does not break easy! Our pack had so many I was able to get my son a bunch, and still have some cute emoji ones left for his sister (and me lol)

I was only able to use about half the lead. it breaks after every 3-4 letters i write. even when i write lighter. very frustrating
