these very delicious pears. have a very deceitful look. they seem hard and as if they will never ripe. give it 2 days max and it will be soft and juicy but still appear to be unripe. simply take your fingernail and gently try to press the bottom of the pair near the stub. if the nail easily goes in, it is ripe. if it has some resistance, the pear won't spoil because you tested it at the stub. just give it another day and it will be ripe

So far, the pears have always been good, might need a couple of days to ri[en but crunchy pears are delicious as well.  Can always be boiled with some sugar if preferred.

Very disappointed in these this year. We usually try to order them all year but even during the summer they were green and hard. They never did ripen.

Probably due to the weather.

I do not want to eat produce that has not been put in a plastic bag.  Or put on a dirty conveyor belt.  Don't be so cheap.

I always bag my produce so why don't you?

Missing a pear and they came all bruised and damaged.

Pears were green like they should still be on tree. Young inexperienced people doing selections. The need to be instructed on produce.

got 5 pears - every single one was heavily bruised and soft (too soft, almost mush in some spots). will not be eating these
