I have a pinched nerve in my back that extends down my leg, and I have been using an ointment previously, but this is much better.  I use it when I get home for 5-10 minutes in the specific area that bothers me and i don't feel the pain/tightness at all.  This product performs great and really treats any area needing massaged.  I highly recommend the HoMedics Massager.

Great helper for my sore back

I teach group fitness classes and this product is my new favorite massager. It works out my Charlie horse's and eases my sore, over worked muscles the heat is an absolute plus. I use this product daily and will continue to.

Hits the right spot everytime

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This massager not only has 2 settings, one powerful and one not so powerful for the more sensitive areas, but it also has heat! What a treat that is for tension in your muscles! It is a little heavy but still very workable. Especially on the back where it's so hard to reach.

Great massage!

The HoMedics Percussion Dual-Node Body Massager with Heat was everything that I had hoped for. 

This product comes with two node options – firm or soft.  I found that the soft nodes were perfect for areas such as your neck or hands.  The hard nodes were amazing for a deep, muscle-soothing massage.  Both node variations work great with heat.

Heat.  Ah yes.  One of the best features of this machine.  A home massager is fantastic for soothing those daily aches and pains but, when you add heat, it brings it home. The heat setting was perfect - not too hot or too cold!

The HoMedics Massager also comes with two speed settings.  For most needs, the low speed is perfect.  The fast speed is great for lower back pain. 

While a little on the loud side,  it is easy to get past the noise when you are soothing your aches and pains.

Soothing Heat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I constantly seem to have back and shoulder pain from my job, and I am always looking for home products that will help me relax and also will help my aching muscles. This massager is so nice and works so well that I use it almost nightly to help me unwind. This is easy to use on my own, as well as is nice if my wife uses this on my back as well. It has a nice long handle that is comfortable and easy to hold while this massages the muscles. There is an included heat setting that you can choose to use or not use, as well as two speeds of massaging. There are two different massaging nodules that you can remove and use whichever you prefer to use. I love that there is different speeds, as I like to start out on the slower speed and then work up to the deeper massage. It really helps my neck and back muscles loosen up and makes me feel less tight and wound up. The whole massager is lightweight and doesn't get tiresome to use like some of the other brands of massagers I have used, have done. I really recommend this massager to anyone who is looking for a great massager that is affordable as well as customizable. I can also take this on the go, for business trips or leisure trips in case my back or muscles start to hurt. I really enjoy the heating feature on this massager, as it really helps the muscles loosen up and really helps provide relief to my aching tired muscles. I always feel a lot better and renewed after using this like I went to a professional massage therapist!

Great for Relaxation

I bought this massager in the hopes of helping to relax my muscles from everyday movements and I must say it works like a charm. I've been having neck pain for a few weeks and I used HoMedics 2 days in a row and it was able to relieve my pain. I would give this product a full 5 stars if only it heated like its supposed to. I've had it on for long periods of time hoping that it was enough time for it to work but it hasn't. Keep in mind I have had this product for 2 weeks. I'm hoping its just one defective machine and if I exchange it for another one it will work. Overall, awesome to have at home after a long stressful day!

Almost Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been able to try this product for several weeks and I am pleased so far. When I first tried the Percussion Dual-Node Body Massager with Heat my back and neck had been pretty sore from a rigorous workout. I decided to use the medium pressure and not push as hard as I could. I was able to relief some pressure without it being extremely pain. The medium setting is great for someone who does not like too much pressure or may have aches and pains. 
Later on in the week I tried it on the higher setting. I felt that it worked well but it was a little awkward to hold and use on myself. I was able to feel the pressure but it was a bit harder to maneuver. I thought it would be a good idea to ask my wife to try it on my back instead.  She turned it to the highest setting and was able to put a little more pressure on the device. It made a huge difference. My wife was able to really put the pressure needed and get to spots that were harder  to get too. 
There are three features that set this massager apart from the rest. The handle is curved and shaped in a way that it doesn't hurt your hand while in use. I've used other brands before and with others they hurt to hold for a long time. I did not experience that problem with this one. The second feature I loved was that it was corded and the cord was long. It's so great to not worry about making sure there's batteries for this product. The third feature that really put it over the top was the best button. It doesn't take that long to heat up and it's works wonders on your back. 
Overall, this product was a great product. It's sleek and lightweight so we have no problem storing it or leaving it out on the nightstand because it looks great!  I've already told a few guys at my gym how wonderful it works on our sore muscles. Great product!
