Worth every penny, with or without catnip!  Buddy the cat has found so many ways to  play with/scratch on/bite into this thing, the most recent being tipping it over on its side and just going bonkers.  Am ordering a new one to add to the collection today!

As described and hoped for. Kitten now manages to climb and stand on top ! Sturdy.
One minus : makers cannot stop themselves and MUST place their logo on the circle.
Not part of the deal and distracting.

Very nice and simple. It's hard to find a scratching post that isn't elaborate and tacky. This one is good value for the price. I just wish it was a bit taller.
