This TV has nice colour, if you buy one and the picture is dark go to setting scroll to automatic light sensor and click it off and it will be a much better picture. The sound is fine, it doesn't have a video jack for the Wii, and the wifi doesn't stay connected which is not cool, but hey it was a good price. The delivery guy had it on a dolly with no tarp in the pouring rain, but its not his TV so he doesn't care. Overall it will do its a big screen with nice colour and sound and will do until I win the lottery .I would still buy it and yes if your on a budget its great as just a TV forget the smart part I would recommend it.

46 inch LED smart TV.

I'm a fan of Philips and really wanted to like this TV but I'm taking it back. I spent a lot of time trying to adjust the picture and it's fair but not as good as it should be. Also, it's supposed to be 120hz but I notice quite a bit of blurring during action and when someone is talking. It can't keep up with the lip movement and drives me crazy. I thought I was imagining it until I put it side by side with the LG I'm replacing it with and then it became very apparent. If you do buy this I would recommend turning off the auto save, it improves the picture quite a bit. Sound leaves a lot to be desired also, I would understand if this was a thin TV bit it's 4" thick so there's no reason to have so little low range. This TV has a lot of features for the money, too bad the picture isn't a little better.

Very nice TV for the money. Had a Visio and took it back. This was an easy set up. Comes with everything I needed. The picture is fantastic. The internal speakers are OK. That's the only reason for a 4 in quality.Purchased the Philips sound bar and that works great too. Would definately recommend one to my friends.

Excellent buy for the money

i bought my tv a while ago, and i just have to be honest. this philips tv was worth the money, it has deliver ever time. i can say i have never had a problem with set. the sound and color is great. i am going to purchase another, in about a month or so. thanks walmart on a very good purchase.i would recommend the philips tv to my family&friends. thanks again.

I love this tv. we have always had a Philips tv and my last one has lasted 18years and still going. this tv is great. it has the best sound than most hdtvs. the only problem we have had is sometimes when we are watching it the tv will shut off for no reason. this could end up being a problem but I am hoping it wont be because I love this tv. it has a great picture and the motion rate is very good. I think the brightness could be a little better but all in all this tv is right up there with other name brand tvs. I would buy this tv again.

This is the first flat screen, smart T.V. my husband and I have purchased, it is very easy to use, pair with other devices. The on screen set up makes it very easy to get started right out of the box, I recommend this make and model to anyone, whether you are proficient in using a smart T.V. or a novice. The picture is amazing, the audio is fine considering the model we have is already 2 years old.

The Televison is great

I love this tv. The picture quality is excellent with 120 hz perfect motion rate...every image is crystal clear and refreshs with pure excellence. ..the sound is awesome...the SRS trusurround is awesome...overall an excellent tv..

Excellent picture, sound and features..:)

Purchased 4 weeks ago, picture is great and refreshing even at 60 hrz is tolerable. If your primary focus is to use the smart features on this unit, you should go for something else. 

Decent for the price.

I bought it a month ago and it does the job very well. I need a big monitor for my office using a wireless connection. It works just fine. I am happy with my purchase.

It does the job very well

This Phillips set had the best picture in the store except for the sets over $2,000! We had an LG set (plasma) go bad after ONE year, so we just don't feel comfortable mortgaging the house to buy a television! Please NOTE, the set will need some adjusting out of the box. We were very disappointed with the picture for the first two days. I kept working with adjustments, and now it is wonderful! We do like to turn off the "ambient" light energy-saving feature because it dulls the picture too much. Lcds don't use a lot of energy either, and we like a brighter screen. The internet capability is fantastic, and I love the apps; they are much better than what we had on the LG. We've only had the set a few days, but we have high hopes. The picture and the sound are fantastic (after the adjustments). For under $700, it is a real buy. Always buy the extended warranty on electronics; Sam's sent us a check for the full purchase price of the LG; the customer service was fantastic. That's why we purchased this set at Sam's as well AND another extended warranty!

Fantastic Value

This TV is coming back to Sam's Club. It does not work as advertised. I have spent hours and hours trying to get NetFLix to perform at a reasonable rate, but to no avail. I have read everything on Philips web site, updagrade the software, bought a new wireless router and modem, but still no NetFlix. And this feature was my justification for spending the extra money over a Vizio of the same size. So, I am giving up, taking this back to Sam's. and replacing it with the 46" Vizio.

Do not waste YOUR time!!!
