These nipples are perfect for a newborn. The flow is just right for our newborn daughter. Other nipples would flow to freely causin her to choke and spit up more of the breast milk. My wife and I were concerned that our baby would get used to the Avent nipples and not breast feed, but this is not the case. Our baby goes back and forth between the two with no issues.

The nipples that came with the bottles said 1, but it was for 0+. My baby sounded like she was drowning and choking because the flow was too fast. So we bought the 0 nipples and she does great. Its longer feeding time, but she is drinking at the right speed and is not forced to guzzle it down.

This was still too fast of a flow for our child under one month. But she's gotten better after a month, so it's not a problem anymore. She still uses this one. 

For any first time parents, definitely difficult looking for a slow flow nipple to help with your baby choking on baby formula. Always trial and error.

Disappointed, but we still love Avent products.

i ordered bcs i needed the 0 flow nipple, thought this was it after looking at the pics and well, the listing itself brings you about the conclusion that it is. however dont be fooled, its not. its the size 1 nipple. still used bcs i had no choice but i wasnt happy at all to recieve this product.

Nipples were supposed to 0 flow. I received number 1 flow. The nipples were not the correct ones that it says you are buying. Charged me 7 dollars for shipping and only refunded me the price of the nipples.

To start off my baby drinks his bottle way to fast so I was happy I was able to find the sz 0 . VERY mad 1/4 nipples actually works , it's the only one that stays up and doesn't sink in while baby is drinking bottle……

Not worth the money if only 1/4 works
