The Philips Golite is a great product for chasing those winter blues and anxiety away. Tried a couple cheaper versions without the same success. Very easy to use straight from the box, timer and brightness settings pretty much self-explanatory. Also offers the safety of LED Blue lighting, so no threat to your eyesight, kids or pets. The portable compact design is a nice feature, take it wherever you have an outlet and enjoy. Quality product in design, appearance, safety and value. Not to mention it truly does work, definitely a difference in energy and mood after about a week.

So far very satisfied with this new item..I use it for a half hour every morning while I,m watching the morning news.I used to drink 2-3 cups of coffee before getting "going" but now I,m finding I turn off the news after only one cup an off the couch... I,m not sure of the biological or physical effects but it seems to work for me..It takes a bit to get used to the indirect lighting but after 2 or 3 times it grows on you...

Better than expected device

This little but mighty light is super simple to assemble and use. Stop the antidepressants and buy and use this light! I am a seamstress and have it next to my sewing machine for use while working. Put it next to your computer. I had a lifted mood and increased energy from the very first use. I worked as a social worker in a Skilled Nursing Facility where we documented the decreased need for antidepressants when we used light therapy. Even won an award for our project so it is not just me. Do yourself a favor and spend the money to make sure you have a happier 2016.

I would suggest starting on the lowest light intensity for 15 minutes and increasing intensity/time from there as you desire.

I have used this light for 5 yrs works every day i bought this one for my grandaughter who was very wary of this until she used mine made a big difference in her energy

The best light i have ever found that works

My mom gifted the goLITE to me for Christmas this year. It is now permanently affixed on my desk at work, unless it's traveling around the room visiting my co-workers. Who also have had great results! It's fun and so easy to use! We have thoroughly enjoyed this gift of light in our billing office, and look forward to many happy months of winter ahead!

The gift of light!

I had found during the Fall & Winter months an increasing sluggishness in my mornings & days.
I had a very difficult time getting going in the mornings & often found myself fighting the desire to take a nap or go to sleep later in the day as well.
A friend told me about her energy light & how well it worked for her, so I thought I would give it a try.
I am amazed!!!!
I LOVE my energy light & can't live without it, it's part of my morning routine & keeps me going throughout the day.

I highly recommend this energy light!

I bought this at the beginning of winter, and already just love it! Because we have so little sunshine in Oct and Nov this little light really helps to keep the blahs away. I use it daily, and truly notice a difference. It is so easy to pack up and take with me if I have to leave town, and is very simple to use....simply plug it in and turn it on. In my opinion, this is an excellent product.

Such a little thing with a huge impact!

I suffer yearly from the winter blues and Seasonal Affective Disorder. I either use the energy light as I get ready in the morning, or use it when I get to work first thing. If I don't use it in the morning- I notice. I cannot live without this product during the winter months- especially when it comes to the shortest and darkest days of the year. I have started out with one of the smaller energy lights, but would love to try the other, larger lights as well. I reccommend this product to anyone suffering from S.A.D. as well!

Very Portable

I use this product to help me get my sleep pattern back on track since I have insomnia for several years. This was recommended by a sleep clinic doctor. At first I was skeptical to use it, but then after a few days of trying this I see the results. It has been 2 months since I bought this product and I still continue to use it every day.

Works great for me!

I can't stand this thing. I can't figure out how to set the controls for what I want and there are no instructions on the thing. The alarm goes off forever until you stop it and the light is blinding. All in all I would say it is the most expensive lowest value item I have purchased in a long time.
