This product works great

I have been using this for over two years now. Its powerful, removes hair perfectly and I have seen significantly less hair growth adter prolonged use. I use on hands legs underarms upper lips and chin.No complaints. Works like magic.

Easy to use and effective

I recently came across "Epilators"...I had never heard of them before. Next I started to research them, WOW, there are so many different brands and within those brands it was dizzying the different sizes, styles and price ranges! Somehow I came across this Philip's (partially due to price range) and great reviews. I know it says for legs (which I now use it for too) but I actually bought it to try it on my face. I was having the "fuzz" on my face and neck (that mid life stuff that happens!) removed by my nail gaL by "THREADING" it off periodically. Well I live on a budget so I would only do it every 3 or 4 months and only if there was an event I wanted to look good for. The cost for threading wasn't bad $23...but for the price of this Epilator, I had to try this unit. I have now used it twice on my face, neck and legs and it has done just as good a job as my nail gal did doing the threading and it has now paid for itself! And I don't need to wait for a special occasion to get my face done! Having done the threading at least half a dozen times, the "pain" you feel using this is a good thing knowing that the hair is being removed and very similar sensation as the threading. The unit is simple, easy to snap off the top part to clean, really nice long cord (it is a very thin cord too so easy to store), only wish it came with a small storage bag to keep it in. This little Epilator is an amazing little thing, reasonably priced and hope it will bring many years of use! If you are hesitating, don't! Oh and again, it is not pain free...but you know it's working if you feel it!

I have an older model of the Philips Satinelle and it's still going strong. I love it and recommend it to everyone who asks me about hair removal. It has paid for itself many times over. I came on line looking to buy it as a gift for a couple of friends. Sure you can't sit back and relax while someone else does the work, but it doesn't take that much time if you use it every couple weeks.

Have used it and loved it for years

I had read about epilators for months before I made my purchase. Essentially waxing is expensive and I needed another option. Epilating has solved my problem!! 

The first session is as painful as you would expect a rotating tweezer to be. But beauty is pain (and the results were amazing) so I stuck with it. After my third session (about every 2 weeks) my underarms are smooth as can be with no more growth. My legs will take several more sessions but this product is a STEAL at this price for all the hair I've taken off. 

Exfoliate the day before you epilate. Always epilate on clean, dry skin. Moisturize afterward.

Don't be afraid

To be honest, I haven't really used it much yet. The shaver is fine, as that is what I'm used to. Not really sure about the Epilator, as I have never used one before and have only looked at the online visual instructions once. Need to look at the instructions as I am using the Epilator, I think, to give it a fair chance.

Believe this to be a good product, but I need to use it more.

I was looking for epilator for long time, so dicided to buy this one. I was actually not impressed. It does
not remove hair straight away as in instruction has said. It feels like just cuts hair becouse it grows back after one week. I am disappointed becouse I did not got what I expected. I had to read previous feedbacks.

Hi, this product was a gift from my husband for Christmas. I was absolutely thrilled at that time as you all know how expensive beauty treatments in London are. But my joy did not last long. The very first time, it did a smooth epilation. But after the second time, a few hairs here and there were left and not on the unreachale parts of the body. I had to go somewhere and i used this product but like i said it did not make much difference. The hair was always left here and there on my arms and even forearms. I cannot even tell my husband how bad this product is. I have gotten back to waxing now and this is lying in its pack.

I don't know ...

I have followed the instructions very carefully - let my hair grow to the optimum length, made sure to pull my skin tight and place the epilator with a 90 degrees angle onto the skin, moving it slowly and so on...

But the epilator seems to rather break my hairs than tweezing them.. :( Leaving my legs feeling like they were shaved 3 days ago..

Why is this, Philips?

I'd read a lot of good reviews on the internet about this product, but it hasn't performed fully to my expectations.

I haven't tried the shaver, as I was looking for an epilator. But I like the size and the design, it is very handy, especially if it did what it is suppose to..

Where's the epilation?
