Plano 9505 5 Shelf is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 457.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased for Pantry I have a pantry in my appartment with no shelving. (an empty closet) This was purchased for storing canned and dry goods on. I am extremely happy with this purchase. With 5 shelves it holds so much and is very heavy duty and sturdy. It is roomy enough between each shelf that I purchased a wire storage rack/shelf and set it up on shelf to add another level for even more storage room. Very easy to put together too. Nothing to it!! I would highly reccommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Many Uses I got 2 of these shelves for my garage and 3 for my pantry. In the garage it holds tubs of toys, pool supplies, coolers, and tools. For the pantry, I used a hack saw to shorten the shelve heights and combined 3 sets into 2 and now have one unit with 7 shelves and another with 8. I have 6", 8" and 10" shelve heights for cans, bottles, and boxes. I can now fit more in the same space. It is perfect and was the least inexpensive way to do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent shelves I bought several of the 2 packs - $44.88. Can't beat that! A few came today and I got them set up so quick. Can't wait for the others. I did have a few cracked shelves, which I will deal with when the rest of my order gets here. I am off to order some more. I have a huge basement and using the shelves for all the grand kids toys. Lots of space between each shelf. I thought a bit too much between shelves, but it actually works better that way for the kids. The first few I put up (only went 4 high) are great, no wobbling at all. I was also able to connect each set which was also easy and works great. The next one I set up was a bit wobbly, but not bad. Not sure if it the bottom shelf or my floor, but once I get the basement dry-walled, I will screw them to the wall (holes are pre-drilled in the back of the shelves) For the price they are fantastic. Not sure how they will work for something heavier such as books, but will try it when my next shipment comes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value I bought two of these units for my garage. They were very easy to put together. My advice is to have a rubber mallet handy for assembly. The fit for the poles is tight and it helped to have the mallet to beat the shelves into place. The two units lock together end to end which is nice. There are also predrilled holes in the shelves so you can add stability by shooting a couple screws into the wall. This unit is very durable and each shelf holds a lot of stuff. Compared to the price for similiar units, this is a bargain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Shelves for a Confined Space I purchased these because they are only about 14" deep. My house is very short on storage space but, among other things, it has a long hallway. I placed these shelving units, seven of them, down the full length of the hallway. Because they are only about 14" deep, I still have a perfectly usable hallway. In effect, these shelves fit in space that was wasted otherwise. That wasted space has become gobs of usable storage space, floor to ceiling! The only downside is that, because they are only 14" deep, they could be a bit more "tippy" than deeper shelves, and since I may well use the full 375 lb capacity, I attached them to the wall using screws through the screw holes provided. One neat little feature is the provision for readily attaching units to each other side-by-side. If you need more that one unit, be aware that they are available in two-packs as well as individually. The two-pack will save you some money. I had wanted seven units but, as two-packs, I bought eight for the price of seven individually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are strong shelves... I bought these when I first moved to AB from BC and all my house stuff was in storage and I was apartment hopping. Two milk crates fit side by side on each shelf. They interlock side to side which keeps the unit sturdy. There are holes in rear of shelves underneath to screw to wall but I never had to, you might if you have climbing kids. Shelves took a lot of weight and were easy to assemble and disassemble when moving. I used a heat gun to expand the shelf to remove the posts when I moved in winter. Be careful or you can crack the shelf if you move the post around instead of twist and out. Maybe some vegetable oil when installing might help disassembly if you dont have a hair dryer or heat gun. Some posts were tight, others loose. No complaints. Cheap and affordable. Not for car parts, but for attic, basement and closet organization.
