I usually never like to write reviews, however, this product is wonderful! I can pump, store (fridge or freeze), and directly feed my baby from one liner!! Walmart has the best deal for this playtex breastmilk kit! I did my research, trust me! In regards to the product, I know a lot of mom don't like the fact that each kit only comes with 6 caps, which means we re only able to store 6 bottles, so I dont use this for long term storage in the freezer. I actually use breastmilk storage bags from lasinoh. I use this kit to pump milk at work, store in fridge for the next day use.

CONVENIENT WAY TO STORE MILK FOR THE WORKING MOM

This is my 4th child that I am breastfeeding and having to work with, and let me just say that I wish this product would have been available for my other 3. It is so easy to use, so cost effective, and just plain wonderful! I did have to buy 2 sets so I could use both handles on my double pump, but at the price it is, I was still saving. To get around not having enough collars and lids all the time, when the milk is fully frozen I take them out of the collars and put them in a ziplock bag in the freezer and this works wonderfully. I would buy this product over and over and over again!!!

Love It!!

This kit is amazingly helpful! You can use the adapter with any standard size bottle pump. It makes it so you dont have to transfer your milk from pumping to storing, to feeding. You can also use the flat blue "caps" on the bottles to make the bottle leak proof when you travel...this is also how i stored my milk. I put the liner in the bottle, pumped into the bottle, screwed the lid on and placed in the freezer. After the milk was frozen i removed the liner from the bottle and put 4-5 liners in a zip-block bag.

Breastmilk Storage Kit

When the realization hit me that I had to go back to work after 6 wks with my baby, I started looking for the "best" breastpump and accessories. After searching and comparing, I found the Playtex system to be the best for the price. The storage system is really easy to use and is very convenient. When used with the drop-in nurser, you have no fear of the bag getting smashed or compressed while pumping. After you've collected, just put the lid/sealing cap on and put it in the fridge/freezer. If you have limited space, you can take the nurser off and store it upside down. I put mine in the ice try (where you would normally dump your ice cubes), and I can put at least 10-12 containers in there. Some stored right side up. I also use a dry erase marker to label my milk because it is easy to come off. It is super easy to re-heat. Just run under hot water or dip into a container with hot water. I would not reccommend re-using the plastic liners because they are not sterile after the first use. Just toss it and use a fresh one. Sometimes with being a full-time working mom, you'll have to buy a few boxes of these because you need to build your supply, but all in all, I love this system!!!

Very Easy to Use

Okay, so I VERY skeptical at first, but now I absolutely love them! I only bought one set and quickly figured out that if I pump and freeze them, that after the milk is frozen, I can move the frozen liners to a ziplock bag (I have the ziplocks that you can vacuum the air out). Then I can have all my playtex pieces back for more pumping! I pump into a liner, label the date, set upright to freeze, then remove from the attachments and place in the ziplock! I can't imagine anything easier to use! My daughter is breastfed only, but now my husband takes a big part in feeding her whenever he wants too!
I saw a lot of people complain that you have to buy multiple sets, but I think it's easier an saves much much much more room just ziplocking them after they freeze! This way I can use drop in and standard liners too.

BEST EVER!!!!

For a mom who is pumping at work....this saves me tons of time. Who wants to wash a pump bottle when you are using playtex liners so that you don't have to wash bottles!! Love it!! Bought for myself and as a shower gift. The only thing is if you are going to double pump you need two sets because pack only comes with one pump adapter. I've bought myself four packs and I use them with my medela pump in style.

Saves me time

I LOVE this product! I combo fed my first daughter and stored milk in the Playtex liners/bottles before they ever made this product. I simply poured the milk into the drop in liners placed in a bottle, covered the top with a double layer of cling wrap, screwed on the nipple ring and put it in the freezer; this will be SO much easier. I ordered two sets to get two adapters but when I picked them up this weekend I found out that they actually had two pump adapters(that work perfectly with my Medela pump) in each set! Kudos to Playtex for catching on that serious pumpers use double pumps, not so much to Walmart who hasn't updated the product information. To address a couple of negative reviews I will say that the product description does not say or imply that there are bottles included in the set, you can buy the liners in 4 and 8 oz sizes, and as far as heating it is much better to place breast milk in the fridge the night before and let it thaw slowly or place it in warm water to thaw (as instructed by the booklet that comes with the kit). Heating breast milk aggressively can actually break down some of its beneficial properties, which defeats the purpose of pumping rather than using formula in the first place. Each set came with 6 storage lids and rings, which would be plenty for me most likely, as I tend to pump today what baby will eat tomorrow, but I think I will keep both sets in case I produce enough this time to be able to stockpile. As for the expense, I think this is a very good price for the convenience provided and the only thing you will need to buy more of are the liners, which you would be doing any way if you are using Playtex Nurser Bottles. Plus pumping into the bottle/liner that you are going to feed from prevents spills, which is why I never liked the zip top storage bags or the bottles that came with my pump.

Just what I wanted and needed!

I think it's a great value. I do not see how it could be too expensive because you can reuse the rings and lids and the plastic drop-ins are so convenient. I breast feed exclusively and used these for my second baby and will for my next. I cannot imagine a better system. A couple people complained that it is too soft; I just put it on a bottle while I pump.

GREAT!

I got these to use when I'm at work and have to pump (I work 24 hours shifts every third day so it's a lot of pumping). It's so much easier to use the liners than to have to bring a bunch of bottles work with me. I have bought 2 sets so I have enough caps for 24+ hours worth of milk and the first set came with only 1 adapter and the second set (bought a month later at a different store) came with 2 adapters. Pumping, freezing and then moving the liners with frozen milk into freezer storage bags works great. I absolutely recommend this to anyone who uses the Nursers and also pumps.

Great Product!

This is a great product. It is compatible with Medela Swing pumps. If you have extra Playtex drop in bottles laying around, you can pump directly into those if you run out of rings and caps. In fact, I usually pump directly into the bottles if I plan to use the milk within 24-48 hours. If you plan to freeze the milk, you can remove the rings and caps after it is frozen and put the milk into ziploc bags.

I have saved so much time not having to wash bottles with this product. And if you don't want to pay the premium for the Playtex liners you can always use an off brand, they work just a good for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend it.

Convenient, wish I had bought one sooner!

It recommends storing them upside down and when you do that they leak!!! I thought maybe it was just the set of lids but it did it on all that I tried using.

LEAKED!!!
