I bought it this summer as last summer I was a bit uneasy for just 4 weeks in mid summer due to heat and it did resolve my need!!

mobile and easy to instal

The only thing I do not like is that the hose for venting the heated air from the running of the air conditioner does not stay in well enough. If I try to move the machine to face a different direction the hose will fall out of the back most times and I find it a bit hard to re-insert the hose. It can get frustrating and take some trying and trying before I am able to get it in. Other than that, I am extremely happy with this machine and would recommend to anyone to purchase one. It should be noted, having said that, I have suffered a stroke and my frustration could stem from my restrictions from that although most would not know I had had a stroke upon meeting me. Just thought it should be noted to be fair.

OK Air Conditioner

Excellent product. Works well. Only drawback is the constant emptying of water. Especially if you live in a humid climate. Otherwise, excellent AC. I would recommend.

Good Value!

I bought this at the end of the summer and had to set it up to make sure it worked. So not a lot of practical experience regarding how well it will work in the dog days of summer.

First off it works. Not a big deal to install. Although it shows in the control panel F/C H, it will not change between temperature scales, operates only in Fahrenheit. I called about this and they confirmed this is the case. I also assume it will not show the humidity since I have tried the dehumidifier and only the temp appears on the screen. The dehumidifier works 8 minutes on 6 minutes in fan mode and starts cycle over again.

 When air conditioner reaches set temparature it does not turn completely off, will go to fan mode. Still can always be turned off by hand or remotely. The remote control is a bit fragil and would not work at first, the batteries included were almost dead. I charged batteries got remote to work but the range is not great and make sure there is nothing between you and the air conditioner.

Has a few things I probably won't use but really won't know till next summer.
