Yes as master Samwise has pointed out to a generation, potatoes are a quite versatile item. The Irish have an entire cultural cuisine built around them.  Ah, potatoes. They taste like nothing, which means they can taste like anything.  Bake one and get silly. I have literally never found something that didn't work on a potatoe. Want tacos but forgot the tortillas? Taco potatoes. Have a big pot of chili but somehow all of your bowls are gone? chili potatoes. Have some marketside brand broccoli cheddar soup, but want something more substantial?  You guessed it! Broccoli Cheddar Potatoes!

These potatoes were huge, flavorful, and easy to bake. We coated them in butter, sprinkled salt free spices all over  then poking with a fork all sides. Our microwave has a potato setting. they came out steaming, fresh tasting and flavorful. We would definitely purchase again!

Great Baking Potatoes!

I’m only giving these four stars rather than five stars because sometimes the size varies too much. Other than that, I’ve been pretty happy ordering these and having them delivered. When you get the large ones, they’re perfect for making loaded stuffed potatoes with bacon cheddar, and sour cream quite tasty almost a meal in itself.

These are my go to potatoes for baking

I baked this potato for 1.5 hours @ 450* which is a long time to bake a potato. They were a bit soft when I got them. I haven't had great success with Walmart's potatoes in general. They are subpar when it comes to quality- probably old and stored in a too humid environment.
I always feel pressure to cook them right away. Still, I often find they are rotten when I go to use them. I store them in a hanging basket in a cool, dry mud room.

Takes a long time to cook

Normally, I like these potatoes, even if they are a little undersized, but the last time I got them, they had black lines and digs in them. The lines were like veins and they were black like mold and at first I said oh I'm just gonna see if I can cut it out, but it was too deep and I cut the potato open and it was really disgusting so I went up throwing it away. And disinfecting the area I was working to make a vegetable stew.

Russell my potatoes

This potato was disappointingly poor quality.  I was so looking forward to my first baked potato in ages, but found this one to have several dark soft spots on it  and also inside when I cut it open.  Not sure who picked this order, but there needs to be more care given in fresh produce choosing.

Moldy potato

These Russet potatoes were small, literally light green and one had two deep cuts in the end. The skins were quite dark and they were soft.  The  two worst Russet potatoes ever.  In the past, I have received absolutely beautiful produce, but over the past two weeks I’ve received cabbage which was tiny and rubbery, Roma tomatoes that were inedible and dry celery. Exclusively, I use Walmart for all of my groceries. I am 84, do not drive and I would be unable to live alone and cook all my meals without Walmart. It is so important to me that I receive my produce  in the best condition possible. Thank you for helping me with this problem.

The condition of fresh Produce

Wrinkled and pitted skin indicates lack of freshness. All potatoes had this. Multiple rot marks on 4 of 6 to be cut away before baking...not acceptable. Misshapen and tube like, not oval or round. These look like rejects or the bottom of the barrel baking potatoes. Previous review were not good, but I thought I might luck out with some good ones. Not so!!! Can not serve these to guests. Would be a total embarrassment !!!!
These were store picked and delivered and hope to get a refund, but either way they will not be served. STEP IT UP WALMART!!!!

BAKING POTATOES AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

How hard is it to pick up a potato and look look at it before you put it in a plastic produce bag that is going to someone for human consumption?  I don't buy produce from them often because I have received  horrible products.  faint walmart for this .35 reminder.

Potato picker problems.

I wanted a potato to bake. Everyone knows those are oblong potatoes with a decent size to them. Instead I received a med size round potato. I will just add it to other potatoes next time I mash or make home fries. I would have done better just using a potato from bag I already had at home. I order a bake potato
