I bought the inventor generator 1000 w to help me with my trailer. I tried it and for the price I am very satisfied. The experience of ordering via the internet is very satisfactory

Very satisfied

We paid $188 in NS for the generator. Purchased it for sail boat and back up in winter to run the furnace. Difficult first start. Stalled after running 20 minutes with no load. Restarted no problem. Ran it for over an hour to test it with furnace. No problem. Fuel pump is push button on bottom, not a switch as stated in directions. Difficult to find. Feel for the fuel tubes and you will find the pump. Hoping to get 3 years out of it to justify the purchase. Time will tell.

Fantastic Price

Product is great considering it's a cheap walmart generator. Starting to be a little more louder after 60-70 hours of run time. If running near peak load it will need restarting about once every 2 hours(throws breaker if engine hickups). Other than that, even at full price of $188...what do you expect. To get over 50hours on such a cheap generator is excellant. I power a ipad, laptop, ps3, and a 47" tv with this little beast. Good value for price. Only major issue is they seem to start leaking oil from exhaust at around 30hours(running 50:1).

2stroke inverter generator

got the generator, everything was packaged well and free shipping, took it to my cabin, fued up did what instructuions said, two short pulls one fast and the way it went, ran great no misses, sounds great, ran for 30 mins, ran tv and satellite, no problem, I belieave it will be a good machine

works great first time

Primed bulb ~15 times, saw gas, fired it up. Revs unevenly always independant of load but delivers on power. Ran. my 500w halogen spot and three cfl bulbs in my cabin. Not quiet but ok for an hour max at campground. I use 100' away so it's a non issue. Can't wait to see how the fuel economy work's out. Yes it's foreign, so we'll see about the reliability, but I am more often than not now, pleasantly surprised with the quality of my on line purchases.
Real light for me one handed.
Gotta say, hesitantly pumped with this little geny.

Started 3rd pull out of the box

It's a 2 stroke motor so gas needs to be pre-mixed with oil. Pretty quiet under no load but gets pretty loud under full load. Light weight and compact. Needs premium gas to run smoothly. Just ran it for 6 strait hours during power outage. Powered a crock pot, 2 lights, computer and modem and it only ran at half power. Definitely worth the money.

Great for the price!

Prime it until you see gas in the lines and 3 pulls and it was running out of the box.
I'm only using it for off road camping so weight and cost was my #1 reason to buy this.

Great size and price for the money

bought this generator that was suppose to be SUPER QUIET.....not so....VERY LOUD< NOISEY.....only good thing was the size and being very portable....other than that if you don't like loud noises, don't buy this generator.....it was suppose to be for camping but it disturbs all other campers who are close by....

NOT WHAT WAS TOLD

I was thinking that $250 for a 1000W pure sine inverter generator was too good to be true. And it is. So far I've managed to get it running a grand total of once.
First of all, the spark plug gap if double what it should be. That took a while to figure out. But even once it was fixed, it still didn't fire properly.
Second, the one time it was running it was extremely loud. I should have expected as much for the price but it was labelled "Ultra Silent".
Third, when I tested it on my 6A sander it barely kept up - it was working really hard (and really loud).
I am going to give it the benefit of the doubt and get another one and may revise this review. But seeing as I've already spend about 5 hours monkeying around with this one, I'd probably be better off just biting the bullet and getting a real generator.

Don't bother

This thing is loud!! I knew it wouldn't be super quiet, but I didn't think it'd be louder than my 3500w standard gen. I just wanted something to run my CPAP on a boat trips do was worried the power fluctuation on a regular generator would be too hard in it. But I was up every 2-1/2hrs refuelling! So much for sleep. That'll teach me to try & save some money. Stay away from this thing!!
