Ease Of Assembly

My old bookcase fell apart after begging for mercy. I searched high and low for a sturdy, reasonable priced bookcase. Found this one. The shelves are solid, and it holds all my stuff. Just make sure you have some lemon pledge, to get rid of the wood smell.

Man I love my bookcase

walmart.com

This Bookcase was exactly what i was expecting and hoping for. Fast delivery, easy to assemble all the finishing on the edges and toe stop. Very satisfied with this Bookcase.

Very please with my new Bookcase

I was concerned from other reviews about shipping or assembly damage, but the bookcases were packaged well and if you're careful, you won't damage while assembling. Built 2 of these, first took about 30 mins as I was thoroughly following directions, second took about 15 once you know the process. These look nice and are sturdy. The package was large and heavy (particle board always is), so a two-person job to carry it home. The finish surface may scratch or chip - I used a standard furniture touch up marker on a very few spots along the edge and that took care of it. I assembled these on a carpeted floor, so the soft surface eliminated scratching. If you build the 4-sided frame on it's back (good sides up off the floor), then stand it up and finish it, you can build these quickly and without damage. Easy directions, takes a Philips screwdriver to build and a hammer to tack on the back.

Nice looking, easy to build

The only thing I would change is to recess the four screws on the side so the covers would provide an even cleaner look.

Great, except for one minor detail.

Easy to assemble. Accommodates all my son's books and collectibles.

Great Bookcase

this is an excellent bookcase. good weigh and good looking

good purchase

Was easy to put together by myself and looks great. Very sturdy.

Excellent bookshelf

It was easy to assemble and looks very nice in our office.

Great!

Looks good. Darker than the image. Smells. Overall fine.

This shelf looks nice. but from a practical point of view, very little is holding it together. There are only 2 screws in a Trim piece at the bottom holding it well. The rest is held by cams and ridged dowels. if you are looking for something that will be really used rather than decorative, maybe this is not for you. The cardboard backing is somewhat thicker than other put together yourself furniture, which is about the only thing lending to stability. I also would have hoped for metal shelf clips, but they are plastic. The instructions are OK but not great.

not sturdy, good decorative piece
