I chose this product with the hope it was sturdier than similarly priced cages...to help reduce the noise. It worked. The cage construction is very solid. We have a cockatiel...and there's almost no sound from him climbing around (no rattling.)

The instructions were poor (the mfg should redo them.) The tiny pictures made it difficult to see small detail (such as which direction a panel should be facing). It didn't help that the parts list and the components I received were different. Also the instructions do not list which screws to use at various times during construction, so you have to excersize judgement. (The mfg calls everything a stainless steel screw.) There was no instructions on how to attach the outside seed guard...but it was somewhat self explanatory. My package was missing one of the inserts needed to attach the wheels. Fortunately I decided (out of necessity due to missing pcs) not to use the wheels. Lastly, I ordered black, but I'd swear what I received is pewter. It looks nice either way, and I don't plan on returning it. (I can't, I've got the bird now.)

Despite the above short comings I am very satisfied with this product. It works great and looks nice (once assembled.)

I love this cage it looks great was hard to figure out assembly until I found you tube video giving step by step instructions still took 4 hours but love the end result -- no damaged parts as other reviews have posted. Perfect for my two conures.

High quality

Pretty much what most others have been saying is what I got. But besides all that this is a great cage. It arrived much faster than expected.
There were bends and dings in the cage, but nothing major. The instructions...I think they just need to be updated. But figuring out how to assemble it was nothing. There are some specific things that it needs to include like the seed catcher assembly, but you'll figure it out. It does list parts you don't need, but they aren't included anyway, so its ok. Bird loves it. Totally worth buying.

I received this cage (at my local store) quickly, and found it to be in excellent condition. Had no trouble at all putting it together and didn't even need to look at the directions. It's pretty obvious what goes where. The seed guard has helped a LOT with the mess around the cage. We have a few seeds escape but nothing at all like our old cage. This cage is nice and roomy for our green-cheek conure, and the bowl doors for refilling food and water are really convenient. They allow you to feed and water without worrying about your bird climbing out while the doors are open, since the bowl actually covers the doorway when you have the door open. (Hard to explain, but it's very clever.) The perch on top is fun and clean too. We spread "puppy pads" on the trays and just change them out once in a while for a super clean cage.

Great cage for a great price!

I was looking at getting a sun conure, this would be a pretty decent sized cage for this bird. However I decided to get an eclectus instead and needed a bigger cage.

This cage came with extra nuts and screws, which is nice. However it was missing a peg for one of the rolling wheels to go into. I contacted the company to send me a new one per their slip, however two weeks went by and I never received the replacement.

Great for medium to small birds

I was actually a better cage than expected. And like the other posts it does come with some big ol dents but they aren't anything that I can't live with. The seed shield was the worst as far as the dents but the way it sticks out we never planned on installing it anyway. Other than that I absolutely love the cage, our 2 cockatiels love the cage, It is nice looking and big and spacious for the birds. I would and have already recommended it as a value to my friends and family.

it came with some dings and dents

This cage is great! I have a bugie (parakeet) and was worried that the bars on the cage were spaced too far apart for my little franklin but he loves his new home there is plenty of space for all of his toys! The set up directions are a little difficult but with a little common sense wasn't to bad.

Great home for bugie

This is a good bird cage at a good price. My local pet shop was asking twice as much for the same cage. I assembled the cage within 20 minutes, but the company did not provide clear, detailed step by step instructions with helpful illustrations. One of the holes for a screw was not drilled completely and the color of the cage was not a true black. However the cage does give my quaker parrot lots of space and outside play area. It is very easy to clean as well.

Good cage - company needs to improve instructions.

This is a nice product but the directions need to be revised! They give you three types of screws and don't specify which go where, and they skipped an entire section! They don't tell you how to put together the seed guard. It came out nicely when I finally figured it out, but they need to give you better directions.

Directions are horrible!

Very disappointed in the quality. Bought similar looking cage elsewhere before this one and it was much better quality. Much cheaper than this junk as well. Serves me right for buying a bird cage from Wally World!!!
