This French press coffee maker sports a modern design, with its narrow cylindrical glass jug, equipped with a lid, stainless plunger and wire mesh filter, which fits tightly in the cylinder glass beaker. Coffee is brewed by placing the coffee and water together, leaving to brew for a few minutes, and then depressing the plunger to trap the coffee grinds at the bottom of the glass jug. A French press requires coffee of a coarser grind than that used for a drip brew coffee filter, such as produced by a burr mill grinder rather than the whirling blade variety, as a finer grind will seep through the press filter and into the coffee. Because the coffee grounds remain in direct contact with the brewing water and the grinds are filtered from the water via a mesh instead of a paper filter, coffee brewed with the French press captures more of the coffee’s flavor and essential oils, which would become trapped in a traditional drip brew machine’s paper filters. French pressed coffee is usually stronger and thicker and has more sediment than drip-brewed coffee.

Easy to use. Filter works well, I only wished that the carafe was microwave safe that's the only negative comment that I have with all these coffee press type makers... This is dishwasher safe but I'd rather have it be microwave safe.

First of all this is such a fun and happy looking coffee press. The colour pops and makes you smile to start your day. This might look like a simple way to make coffee but it makes a rich and smooth cup. It was so simple to use and clean after and only take a few minutes to brew. I think it's perfect for an everyday coffee but would also be great if you're camping without electricity or you'd like to have to just enjoy a rich coffee in the morning. Definitely a great product.

I love the small design. Easy to follow instructions. Using this was a breeze, following the exact instructions. finding the right mix of coffee was tricky, it depend upon how strong you like your coffee. My husband and I enjoyed the coffee from the french press. Was the perfect two mug deal.

6-cup Primula French press

This 6 cup coffee press was put to the test against my personal 6 cup stainless steel coffee French press. For the sake of an honest and decisive opinion. 

That said, for about a week I've been switching between the Primula Tempo Coffee Press and my original French press each time I make coffee and here is what I have noticed:

Every time I use the Primula Tempo coffee press, I notice that the entire straining mechanism seems to be of a higher quality than I am use to, specifically the screen on this is sturdier and finer mesh and I've been made infuriatingly aware that my old coffee press was leaving me with less than ideal experience in my morning coffee. The lack of grinds or coffee sediment that escapes the combinations the filter, spiral plate, and cross plate have improved my coffee, my morning, and my mood. 

Found my new favorite coffee press, possibly even my new favorite daily kitchen addition.

Excellence in morning brewing

This is an inexpensive coffee press but it works well and looks super cute on my kitchen counter. It is billed as a six cup coffee press but it's tiny so more like a two cup press, which is perfect for breakfast. The instructions that came with it as very easy to follow, and it's easy to use. It has sturdy construction and is dishwasher safe, which I appreciate. I recommend this press and I'll continue to use it!

Great coffee press for the money

Easy to follow instructions. Setting up and using this product was a breeze.  I thought clean-up would be a chore but I was wrong as it was quite easy to clean.  But the taste of the coffee was superb, so rich and delicious.  I would highly recommend this product and would like to say thank you for allowing me to test it out.

Quality Product

The Primula Tempo Coffee Press is a great choice for coffee enthusiasts seeking a simple, efficient, and affordable French press. Its durable borosilicate glass carafe and stainless steel frame offer a sleek design and sturdiness. The press produces rich, full-bodied coffee, thanks to its efficient mesh filter that ensures a smooth brew with minimal grit. With a 32 oz. capacity, it's perfect for multiple servings. Easy to use, disassemble, and clean, this coffee press is also dishwasher-safe. The only complaint I have is that there are no measurement markings on the carafe. This means guessing where to add water to achieve 4 cups or the full 8 cups. Overall, it provides excellent value for its price, making it a fantastic addition to any coffee lover's kitchen.

Excellent french press

This 6-cup coffee press is very easy to use. You scoop the coffee grounds onto the bottom, add hot water and then brew until desired time. After you push down on the top and it presses down the coffee grounds. It was really smooth and kept the grounds in one spot. Overall, it was very easy to use this coffee press but it doesn't really make 6 cups, maybe 1-2 large cups. My coffee press was also a bit wobbly on its own.

Very easy to use

Overall, I enjoyed the experience of using the Primula coffee press. I have seen others use these in the past but havnt used one for myself. The sleek design and beautiful red colour is so appealing to the eye. It's perfect for if you have more than a couple minutes to make your coffee and you want full flavour. The end result of the coffee was delicious but not worth the time and clean up for a slim flavour change. To have to boil water, and wait to press it down, and then clean out the press is not convenient for me. It says easy to clean but it's actually a pain to wipe out the coffee grinds, and then clean the press. I will stick to easy pods or drip machines for my rushed morning coffee!

Simple coffee press

The Primula Tempo Coffee Press works very well! It allows for 6 cups of coffee to be brewed. It has a stainless steel plunger and temperature safe borosilicate glass beaker, along with a sturdy handle for pouring. The stainless steel filter creates a great seal allowing for a clean cup of coffee. I like that it is dishwasher safe and the filter can be removed for easy cleaning. Also, the packaging made me more confident that the coffee press would be in good condition and had all the necessary information about the product. 
Overall, a great coffee press that I can take anywhere I go!

Great Coffee Press!

We bought this because we wanted one that was bigger than the one liter (33 ounces or four cups) of our current French press. This maker is advertised as having a six cup capacity which would be 48 ounces. It will not even take four. Returning it.

Will not take even close to 6 cups.
