I used this product a long,  long time ago. Loved it, but then want able to find it again. So happy I found it. This is the best for healing cold sores. It isn't cheap, but it does a super job at relieving the discomfort and helping the sore to heal faster. And the little tube lasts a long time. If you have trouble with cold sores, try this!

Excellent Product for Child Sores

I am prone to get cold sores during the winter and I was in need of some relief! I ordered this stuff and started using the time I received it. I used it as directed and within 3 days my cold sore was gone. This worked WONDERS! I will not be using anything else but this from now on.

Works AMAZING!

Used for chapped lips caused by allergic sinusitis. Lips felt separate from my face and were pink 2 mm above lip line. Gave temporary soothing for first few applications. Had to apply frequently but healed completely in 2 days. Felt smooth and light with oily not ointment like finish.Absorbed quickly and didn't leave lips  feeling sticky. Has light menthol content that soothed but never burned. Continuing to apply at least once daily. My lips feel soft and hydrated.

Soothing lip repair

i suddenly developed what i thought was a cold sore, but may be an allergic reaction. i tried 3 different medications %26 this 1 reduced swelling %26 pain without burning.

This product helped with a fever blister on my lip. I used it several days in a row and it cleared up the blister. I did apply it multiple times a day until the blister was gone.

This lived up to its claims. I googled products that would help soothe and heal a fever blister. This Lysine product claimed to cut the healing time and it actually does! I love how thick it is so when you apply it to the sore, it stays until you remove it. It helps relieves the pain and my sore is almost healed! I am very pleased with this ointment. And the price was reasonable!

Soothing and healing

This stuff is amazing!! Got a cold sore about 3-4 days ago and it's almost all the way gone. I didn't have anything on hand when i got the sore so i came on Walmart to see if i could find something quick. I had seen someone else use this and wanted to try it. I've only been using this for 2 days now and my cold sore is healing so quickly. It works wayyyyy better than abreva and it's half the price. Definitely recommend to others.

WORKS BETTER THAN ABREVA

The item that I usually use when I have a cold sore wasn't available so I read many reviews about this product. After the first use I was a bit skeptical because I felt no feeling or sensation of the lysine working. I applied on my lip on day one about 12 hours after first indication of a flare up, showered and reapplied before bed. Woke up next morning showered and reapplied a fresh coat and went to went. I noticed on the second day my cold sore did not get any bigger which is very odd. I usually have a huge lip by end of day 1 if I used Abreva and or Zilactin. I noticed it lasted the whole day throughout work and only needed to be reapplied after eating. At night same thing reapplied after my shower and it never came off or wore off like other 2 products previously mentioned. Day 2 just looked like I had a small pimple but not a full blown fat lip. Day 3 same regime and it looks completely gone but I can still feel a little something so I reapplied and will see what happens on Day 4.  The one thing I did add to using lysine is peppermint oil. I've read many articles saying how this helps and with the nice tingling feeling of the peppermint oil and lysine I can now say I'm not ashamed to go out with my lip looking like it does. I wish I knew about this product years ago and would recommend it to everyone. It truly has changed my life and my opinion now of if I do get another flare up in the future I will sure to have Lysine on hand. Below are pictures of day 1, 2, and 3! It doesn't sting or burn at all — even when my lip is torn, bleeding, or sensitive. The balm is easy to control to apply a dab. It isn't too runny and it doesn't have a strong smell. My recurring cold sore usually takes a month to heal — this balm has cut that down to a few days! For people with recurring cold sores like me, this is a must-have! My only regret is I wish I bought it sooner!

MIRACLE WORKER!!

I bought this during a cold sore flare-up and it helped with healing and kept my lips moisturized. I wouldn't call it a cure, but it did help and was worth having on hand.
