Raid Max Double Control Ant Baits have dual bait technology - two types of bait to attract and kill ants. After ants feed on the bait, they return to the colony and transfer the bait to the queen and the others, thereby killing the entire colony. Population reduction and less activity can be expected within days, with the baits working continuously for up to three months. Raid Double Control Ant Baits are child-resistant. • For indoor use only. • Separate bait stations before placement. • For thorough ant control, use all baits at one time. For larger areas or particularly heavy infestations, we strongly recommend using additional baits. To secure bait in place on walls or under countertops, use removable adhesive. • Do not use on wallpaper, unpainted drywall, antiques, or unfinished wood. I have 3 kinds of ants in my house in Fl. From sugar ants to larger ants. These traps do not attract any of them! They're also listed as a liquid, which is weird because it looks like a solid.  I went back to the liquid Terro product, which does work. The picture is from them sitting out in my kitchen since September 2025. Not a single ant goes in it.

I almost lost it when I seen the line of large black coming from my ceiling and raiding down to the counter tops of my brand new kitchen!  I ran and grabbed the traps at 10pm. For almost 6 hours I watched these bright blue tablets turn white as the ants continued to come down the wall and eat away at this poison. When I got up the next day, not 1 more to be seen. They were gone! It's been about a month now. They have not returned!

Worth every penny!

I use the other brand but couldn't get it. I was hoping this worked. This is not nearly as effective as the liquid ant poison. I saw some fast moving ants in the kitchen and they weren't even interested in the trap. Don't waste time or money just get the good stuff that can kill fire ants too if necessary.

Don't waste money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Raid Max Liquid Ant Bait and found it to be a mixed experience. On the plus side, it's very easy to use—just snap it open and place it where needed. I appreciated that there's no strong odor, which makes it more pleasant to use indoors.

The bait did attract and trap some ants, which was promising. However, I noticed that quite a few ants simply walked past it without engaging. Another downside was that the bait seemed to dry up fairly quickly, which likely reduced its effectiveness over time.

Overall, it's a convenient and clean product, but the results may vary depending on the ant problem you're facing. Worth trying, but you might need additional methods for full control.

Easy to use and odor free

I actually wish I could get my money back. I had a whole trail of ants in my kitchen and I bought two packs of these bats. I put eight bait stations out and not a single ant went to them for three days. I went and bought some combat roach gel, mixed some crushed potato chips in it and set it next to a bait station. The ants flocked to the combat gel and were all gone by morning. Three days and ants did not touch these at all. What a waste of money.

Don't waste your money

The ants completely ignored the bait traps and I tried everything including putting them right on the ant trail and multiple locations. I ended up tossing them. Too much hassle for not much money to return. 
I ended up using competitors liquid on a cut up paper plate and they loved it and killed their queen in a couple days!

I had bought Ant traps before and never had an issue. Bought these and read the label, though I was not concerned. However the ants get in this and carry it around including the dog dish. It took me several days to figure out how our poor baby Yorkie got so sickly. I then saw a few ants on her bowl and figured it out. 

Do not buy these. Our Vet advised to use natural and not this stuff. We are still treating our baby girl and hope she makes it back home again. I'm simply devastated.

Do not buy if you have pets. Very toxic.

save your money! raid is great when it comes to sprays but they fall short when it comes to baits. i freaked out when i found i had an ant problem. i read all the reviews for both baits.  im willing to try everything to get rid of my problem so i bought 2 different brands %26 as you can see from photo, not 1 ant will go towards the raid bait.

Not a single any went near them. The Terro liquid ant bait right next to it was swarmed and the ants were gone in about a day.

Useless. Ants wouldn't go near them.

So we had a swarm of ants try to settle in and around our property. The small black ones specifically. There were so many of them we could smell the pheromones in certain places they were swarming. We got a pack of these and I set them everywhere. There was absolutely no interest, they just went on by and completely ignored these bait stations. I got some terro bait stations and put them right next to the ones I had placed. The ants went bonkers over the terro and continued to ignore these ones. Might be the species of ant idk but these absolutely did not work for us.
