Rawlings WBTBC Youth Wooden Tee Ball Baseball Bat is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Swing for the fences Great bat. They are wooden but appear to be lighter than aluminum. My boys 7 and 8 hit just fine with these and it comes with a soft baseball.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from GREAT BAT AS LONG YOU USE THE BALL IT CAME WITH I bought this bat for my 7 year-old son. It's small and light enough that he can get a good swing and make contact with the ball. It worked out really well for him UNTIL... we lost the soft-core ball that it came with. Thinking nothing of it, I started pitching to him with regular 'game' baseballs. Things were fine for the first few dozen hits, but ultimately he got one really solid hit which split the bat along the handle, and really caused a shock to his hands. So how do I rate it????? I'm giving it three stars because I do believe it IS a good bat, at GREAT price. $9 for the bat and a ball... you can't beat that. And AS LONG AS IT'S USED WITHIN IT'S DESIGNED PURPOSE I'm sure it would continue to perform well. The problem is... nowhere in that ad does Walmart specifically indicate that the bat can only be used on soft-core balls. If I would have seen that, I'd have bought more soft-core balls, and I'd be giving a 5-star rating, instead of 3. But there's no warning. And because there was no warning, I assumed (yes I assumed) that the bat was safe to use on any kind of baseball. But that's not the case. So I'm giving three stars. I wanted to give one star, but I think that's not really fair to the product. The bat does what it's supposed to. It's just the negligence of the internet marketers/site designers, who failed to include all necessary information. Here's the bottom line: If you're like me, and bought this because you THOUGHT this was a great deal, you have to do the math. I'm sure no one wants to have a kid hit ONE ball and chase after it each time. Logic dictates that you're going to buy more balls. the soft-core balls (the one this bat likes) are about $0.75 more (each) than a regular baseball. If you buy a dozen soft-core balls, you've spent $9 more than you would have spent if you'd bought a dozen regular balls. You'd be better off spending those $9 on getting a higher quality bat, that can hit any type of ball. That's my two cents.
