This is 2nd pack of batteries I have bought . No problem with the batteries, but the packaging is terrible . This child proof is also senior proof !! I am not weak in the hands and cannot get the battery out even with scissors without a major operation . I think of the elderly, living alone who have no assistance . Suggest a little less of child proof and more senior friendly .

I've used ray o vac batteries now for the 10 years I've been wearing hearing aids and have found them to be as good as or better than all the other brands. My complaint is the new childproof packaging that has made them almost unusable unless I'm at home with tools available to get them out. Please redesign the packaging so I'm able to use them without carrying a hardware store along with me.

Hate the new packaging

It takes great pressure to cut through the plastic encasing the batteries. Then you have little shards of hard plastic that cut like broken glass.   I end up removing all six at one time, then storing them loosely, which defeats the concept of child resistance.

So difficult to remove individual batteries

I have used Rayovac size 13 batteries for the past 5 years in my hearing aids and have been quite satisfied with the performance and longevity.  The "new" batteries however, are not so great.  The old batteries lasted 18% longer in similar temperature and environmental conditions. I will try another package hoping this fist package was a fluke, otherwise I will switch to another brand and try Rayovac again at a later date.  Very disappointed.

New style not so great

This is the worst packaging possible.  I have "cut myself" twice from the packaging while trying to open them.  I suggest that you get a sample group (older people) and have them try to get a battery when needed.  Maybe you can change the packaging to something that is easy and safe.

packaging is absolutely horrible

I've used Rayovac HA batteries for many years. The older packaging with the rotating wheel was great. The new packaging is not - requires one to cut into the plastic housing and squeeze out each battery. And one is left with a less than optimal container for holding the remaining batteries. I need to shop for an alternative it appears

Horrible new packaging

This package is HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.
I'm a 79 year old that cannot get into the pagageing!
Thankfully, my husband searched  his tool box to find something that could make the cut you suggest. I will be contacting t Veteran admiration about this problem. I have no children.

New package style is terrible.  I'm wearing bandages on two fingers  but 
I'm wearing bandages on two fingers from opening the package, but I got the thing open!  No More.

Packaging is the worst EVER!

Been using them for years and have to tell you it's the worst packaging idea I have seen. Child proof yes, arthritic hands, no. Your other packages were great. Will search for other supplier.

Great battery

New "child proof" is horrible.  Knives won't cut, scissors certainly don't. I must use the tip of electrical pliers to cut the packaging, and small screw driver to then ply it apart   I wouldn't recommend this to an enemy let alone a friend.

Near impossible to open at any age/any equipment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these hearing aid batteries for quite a while now and they're great. The batteries are long lasting and they're packaged very well. I would recommend them.
