My doctor recommended this for my 6 yr old daughter who had a non stop cough and runny dose.
I find it really helps, she still cough but much less and also helps with the runny nose. It doesn't make the symptoms go fully away but at least 50%.

Helps with dry cough

Our child prefers the taste of this compared to benadryl and claritine. We don't have to play the tug-o-war game for her to drink it. She does it willingly on her own.

Better tasting compared to like products

It works well and fast. The grape flavor is really a lifesaver because the kids might not take it otherwise. Overall a great product

We use Reactine every summer for kids' seasonal allergies. I find that you only have to give this once in the morning and they're good all day. The kids don't complain of the taste!

This medication turned my 5 year old son into a child with adhd symptoms. Although it did ease the allergy a bit, it made him foggy, he didn't have the attention span to talk in full sentences, midway sentence picks up on something else, his energy levels are very low for the first 15 hours, and then slowly return to normal. He didn't even have the attention span to read his favorite book. Tantrums, higheten emotions. in the first hour he seems like he is drun. Once the 24 hours wear off, he slowly turns back to his normal self. It might work for some but not for my son.
