Zebco Ready Tackle Spinning Combo is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good stuff very good for the price. gives a person the ability to start fishing without having to spend too much. (even with a florida freshwater fishing license and 24 count container of night crawlers i spent less than $35!) it goes without saying that it doesn't compare with high dollar combos and would probably not satisfy a long-time experienced angler, but for the occasional trip to a lake or river it is a good choice for a novice like myself. the tackle it came with was fine except the bobber's have a major design flaw that prevents them from staying securely on the line, but who cares!? they are only like 50 cents to replace and then your in business!:)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This combo is mediocre at best! I got this combo pack thing as an unexpected present. I fished with it last year all year with a few issues. One is that the line release button would get jammed in and it would take a knife and some patients to get the button back out so you can cast it. This happened AT LEAST 3 or 4 times last year. Very disappointed. The reel is not smooth at all. It has an irritating constant noise while you are reeling in your line. I just can't trust this reel for going on weekend long fishing trips. And another thing is that part of the reel is made of some kind of fiber glass looking material. This scratches easily, and if you banged it hard enough against a rock, it would probably break. But i can't complain too much because i caught countless bluegill with it, a bullhead or two, and i even caught carp with it last year. I think catching those large carp on the reel and rod destroyed it. I caught probably a dozen carp on it last year ranging from 12-22 inches. Something this combo was not made for. But as of now, this rod and reel is still sitting in the building, but i have yet to fish with it at all this year. I am still going to probably use the rod, just with a different reel later on. But as now, it's as good as broken. PS, I did like the little tackle box! I currently use the tackle box for my pan fish stuff like hooks, swivels, rooster tails, and jigs.
